Check in/out as a breeze. Valet was great. Very responsive. The room was nice. Don’t count on the sofa bed though. That was terribly uncomfortable and I am not a large human. It was walkable to the stadium for a ball game.
Loved the hotel it was nice and clean, had a little problem with the water but it was soon resolved. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly!! I didn't put anything down for service because you don't have to have anyone service your room unless you would like them too!!
Excellent. Friendly, courteous. Breakfast was filling and worth the price. There was a commode issue in my room and it was passed on to repair tech who was on my floor by the time I got up to my floor again and we walked together and the repair was done expeditiously. Everyone so courteous.
Hotel itself is is very nice and clean however, upon arrival when pulling in to valet was greeted extremely unprofessional. Couldn’t decipher if we drove up to an employee family reunion or drug deal. Staff mannerisms were unfriendly, wearing street clothes and very bothered to help us. When checking out there was miscommunication on where our vehicle was and “couldn’t find it”. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere knowing your vehicle is safe.
So far our favorite Marriott property downtown St Louis. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nice and clean. Entrance area is very cozy in that makes you just want to sit down and relax. Self parking is easy in a garage a block away. We will definitely be back.
Not super impressed. Our room was on the Washington Street side and on one of the lower floors, at night it sounds like a drag strip. The pull out couch mattress clearly has seen better days and shouldn't be included in room bookings to sleep on. We asked for bedding and extra towels and got a sheet with a paper thin blanket. And had to make the pull out mattress bed. Skeleton crew, no coffee, no breakfast.
Clean and comfortable. Front desk was kind and gracious, but it was the valet that I loved. Lornell was a happy face to greet us each day, and suggest that I take an umbrella when it was going to rain. Really enjoyed our stay!
Stayed in a a room with 2 Double Beds. The AC worked, the bed was comphy and the the fridge kept our drinks cold! The staff was friendly and polite upon our stay. We used the Valet Parking as it was available and cost effective. This was close to the ball park area, arch and football stadium. Room was clean and had no odours.
The hotel itself was beautiful! The valet service was decent, but the customer service at the front desk and the food/beverage counter needs to improve. We felt more like an inconvenience to them rather than a valued patron. The room was spacious and accommodating, but lacked a microwave, hair dryer, and body wash was empty. All in all a decent hotel in a great location, but needs improvement to live up to the price point.
I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and their staff. The room was absolutely amazing, clean, largest hotel room I’m ever seen. They were accommodating, helpful, and always there to help. Best customer service experience in 35 years. Will definitely be back.
