50/50 review: Arrived shortly after opening time of 6:00 a.m. on 7/24/2022. I sat at the counter leaning my cane next to me. The service was relatively fast & the portions were huge! I couldn’t finish all of it. The problem was the customers who came rolling in about 6:30. Loud, obnoxious, rude – just like school during summer vacation…NO CLASS. Four guys came stumbling in to get “to go” orders wandering all over the place. One knocked my cane over & didn’t even realize he’d done it. Leaning over the counter (and me) to place his order, I could definitely smell liquor on his breath. At 6:30 A.M.??? Oh, C’mon… The restaurant itself appeared clean & well run. The clientele who frequent this establishment leave a lot to be desired.

Good food at a good price! Staff was friendly. They have your normal diner food and they cook all of it just right! Cash only, no credit accepted, so make sure you bring some bills with ya.

Very nice and it's old style you can sit at a booth or at the counter and watch them cook your food, love this. Very reasonable price too, that's what made me try them. IT was a good choice, will be BACK. Oh and it's also Cash Only, they have a ? inside. Staff was great!

Great old fashioned “cash only” diner. I had the Western BBQ burger that had two full strips of bacon topped with an onion ring, it was delicious! Fries were crinkle cuts and piping hot. Older women, career workers, got my best tip?

Good food. Great price. Easy access off i64. Close to Forest Park. Bring cash, it's cash only.

I've eaten here often in the last year. It's a diner, not fine dining. The food is excellent and very reasonable. The wait staff has always been amazing and always get at least a 30% tip from me. I love the whole vibe of the place. I strongly recommend against going to the one on kingshighway. It's terrible!

The chili, tamale and burger were very good. The fries and onion rings were just okay. It took a while for someone to acknowledge our presence when we were waiting for a table, but it was quite busy at the time. They could also benefit from more parking.

The food was delicious, priced well, and the waitresses were cute and very professional.

Tall stack was good fluffy rib-sticking! Steak & eggs - order it rare. Hash browns were nice crispy fresh. Not expensive - we dropped $40 on this including tip. Great staff.

Reminds me of a 50's diner. Even has a juke box. Good food.
