There’s only one tall waitress here and she’s super rude. I can’t stand rude people, they suck
I and members of my extended family living in South County have been going to this restaurant for the last 20 years. I have never had a bad experience. I have read some negative comments here and I can't believe they are talking about the same restaurant. They have good food for a very reasonable price. Some restaurants may be more lavish in their decor but I go there to eat not to look at what's hanging on the walls. Waitresses are alert and attentive and in my experience always friendly. I would, and have, recommended China Buffet to many people in the past.

the people here ugh the waiters and everyone who works at the restaurant are so nice !! the atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet and while it is a short selection of food many are gonna like it. it's super underated. only other critique is to have cleaner bathrooms :)
They charge by the pounds n ounces on take out but the food is good but they need more of a variety besides chicken ??

My FAVORITE and one of the very best Chinese food restaurants around! The buffet is incredible and has a lot more than the usual chinese buffets around. I’ve been for nearly 25 years and it still as awesome as it was from the first time I went. I’d eat here everyday if could.
The food, when good, is good. When it is bad, it is very bad. However, this isn't why I gave them 2 stars. Health safety doesn't seem to be a priority with them. The biggest problem is that they allow unmasked children to approach the bar and breathe, sneeze and touch everything. We cut our last visit short as we could no longer stomach such unsanitary conditions.
The absolute worst experience i have ever had in my entire life. The waitresses were staring at us the whole entire time we ate our meal which made us incredibly uncomfortable. the food was very cold, hard, and disgusting. my family and I are from out of town and the hospitality at this restaurant was aweful. not to mention the hair in my food was disgusting.
