This place probably at one point was great. Classic old school small diner, has a lot of potential. The owner cook & server all seem annoyed and tired- general feeling they could not wait to close at 1: 30pm.. guy sat down at 1:15 p.m. and boy did they seem annoyed. I sat just before 1:00 and was told I have 15 minutes to hurry up and order. Why bother to be in business if you're not happy that your customers are coming in???Many breakfast items end @ 10:30am.I thoroughly enjoyed the food, however I ordered an egg over easy and it was way overcooked. Not a fancy place but if I want a runny egg don't cook it all the way.On the menu it lists ATTITUDE - FREE.SEEMS THERE WAS PLENTY OF FREE ATTITUDE- don't think its intentional - they just need to pretend to be happy they have customers!
Eggs in sauce and added a tamale. Very delicious and awesome friendly staff. I got extremely lucky because they are not normally open on Saturdays. When in St Louis eat here for true American dinner experience.
In town for work, and decided to try this place out instead of the multitude of bars in the area, and boy am I glad I came here! If you're a fan of Cincinnati Chili style, then this is THE place to go! AMAZING food! The staff is friendly as heck. Quaint little diner that has stood the test of time because it's dang good. Do not be fooled by the dated appearance. This place has been around a long time, so that means they are doing things RIGHT!
Haven’t had anything bad here! Food super fast to!
Within walking distance of the Arch and Busch Stadium. Food tasted like your mom or grandmom cooked breakfast (assuming they were good cooks). Felt like an old school diner. Our waitress yelled out our order to the cook. Good value for the money.
the Best slinger I have ever had and the staff 8s so friendly they make you feel right at home
Old school and cheap eats with great service!!! It looks like nothing has changed since the fifties, although the food leaves a little to be desired.
Great American style breakfast with the most friendly waitresses. Been in business since 1904. Classic piece of Americana.
An absolute gem of a diner. Probably hasn’t changed in 50 years. Fast, great food, and ran by 3 wonderful ladies with dirt cheap prices. Was in town for a couple days and made sure to stop in for breakfast both days. I would come back next time I’m in town without a doubt!
Classic old school greasy spoon diner! Cheap, easy, good. Those poor ladies look run off their feet for breakfast! But they're keeping up ?
