Had an excellent meal and very good service. I do have a couple of very minor complaints.I arrived at 4 pm for a 4 pm reservation, and the door was locked. A staff member came to open the door, stating, "We're open, I just haven't unlocked the door." ? She was not wearing a mask despite signs on the walls asking customers to wear masks when away from their tables. Also, the table where we sat was sticky.I had a green tea, the veggie spring rolls, and the cucumber salad. My dining companion had the pad Thai with tofu. We were both very pleased with our meals. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Food came out quickly. Their outdoor seating looks welcoming but a storm came and went while we were there. Maybe next time! I also appreciate the Pride and BLM window art.

This place was amazing. My standard go to for Thai food is the Pad See Ew and the dish here was amazing. I got it with the fried tofu which provided a good texture and the noodles were very tasty. They were quick with the curbside pickup and it was a very good dinner. I was a bit sad that they were out of stock of two of the appetizers I wanted to try but they had it listed in the toast app so it wasn’t a issue when ordering.

Thai food here tasted different from all other Thai places we tried in the US. We had pad see ew and beef nam tok and we don't recommend them at all. The beef dish was too sour, can hardly finish half of it. The pad see ew was my Thai favorite at all previous restaurants, but here it had the annoying taste from the veggies :( The price is $$ too :(

Good beef nom tak but I think it only had cilantro despite cilantro mind as advertised in the menu. Also I wish it was just mint to begin with. The mezcal Thai boi cocktail is top notch but looks sad like pale wine without a garnish.

My husband picked up our order and was ignored and not greeted by the woman working the bar. Her name was Callie. She was the only visable employee. No hello, may I help you, nothing! Someone came from the kitchen and was able to help with our $68 takeout order. This was our frist time trying this spot. The pad thai was dry, the wings were fried in old grease, and they were greasey!! This restaurant will not make it without great customer service and fresh food. We will never order from here again. A waste of money and time. I do not recommend this restaurant. Hate I had to give it 1 star, but our money matters!

Just one of my favorite places! Everything is the highest quality and SO good! Definitely recommend the Pad Kra Pao! You can order online easy and pick up! Five stars!

One of my favorites places for Thai food. Anything that you order will be great, so go ahead an order something New everytime

In my opinion Chao Baan is the 2nd best Thai place in STL after Pearl Cafe. Really good, spicy, flavorful dishes. Always consistently good! Curbside is fast, well packaged. The dining room has great ambiance and I’ve never had a problem with service. Highly recommended, we get it all the time!

Sausage was mediocre, about the same as any grocery store sausage. The Tom Yum soup was overly sour and diluted down, lacking flavor. The worst part was the Panang curry. The potatoes and peppers were cut into these gigantic wedges that made it hard to consume. They weren’t soft enough. The curry sauce itself was a generic creamy liquidy substance that somehow wasn’t appetizing. The beef was hard to chew. The only reason why I didn’t give one star was because they at least put my food out on time.

Wait staff was inattentive. Not able to customize spice level in pad Thai and Tom yum soup. Not sure what to make of the sweet dried shrimp wraps with concealed chili peppers. Hot tea comes pre-sweetened weather or not you asked for sugar. This underwhelming meal came at bit of a markup compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. Apparently they must have some good dishes because there were a few people in there and some good write ups but I did not find them.
