Food was good. We had an array of food: appetizers, salads, steak, chicken, pasta, warmed chocolate cake. We had a little party. Celebrating 2 big shared birthdays! Server was great-thanks, Alexa!!!
I ordered the Shrimp Benedict and it was one of the best eggs benedict that I've ever had. my husband ordered the steak and eggs and immediately said wow when he took a bite. The steak was cooked perfectly and he absolutely loved his cheesy grits, which he normally isn't a fan of. My son loved the pancakes. He ate every bite. What an amazing brunch! Great food, amazing service, cool atmosphere! Highly recommend! ?????
The food was very very good. We had the shrimp appetizer which had a great slightly spicy sauce. The ribeye was cooked perfectly the mushrooms and butter toppings were delicious. Highly recommend if you want a high end meal with a more casual vibe. Our server was also delightful and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back.

Went here for brunch (with a reservation called in ahead of time) around 10:30 on a Sunday. The meal was delicious. I got the steak hash, which I would totally order again. The steak was cooked and seasoned well, and the potatoes were so good. The mimosas were great, but I think I would skip the lemonade cocktail next time. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
I had the ribeye and added sautéed mushrooms on top. It was cooked perfectly and it was huge, 16oz. I'm a big guy and took some home.The apps and desserts were awesome. Drinks and wine were flowing. (A $200 night per couple for with tip, will get you about anything you want, but it doesn't have to be that high.) Totally worth it.
Omg 1st my waitress Nicki was amazing I'm so happy I was seated in her section!!2nd OMG absolutely delicious food!!! Yes I came here on valentines weekend sooooDrinks.. strawberry kiss and Mr valentine both bombDinner.. 6 Oz filet mignon with blue cheese butter and sauted mushrooms.. sauted greenbeans with red bell pepper and other seasonings .. I wanted to lick the plates cleanAnd .. I love you dessert.And the music soundtrack is 80s, old school 90sDelicious must try when in St Louis
Great coffee. Presentation of brunch dishes was very inviting. We had the shrimp Benedict and shrimp and grits. Don’t mind the loudness of this place. Had to send Benedict back as poached eggs were literally cold. Upon the second time around they were warm, but not hot by any means. Service was fine. It was nice to get a salad with the Benedict vs potatoes. Again, learn to serve the poached eggs hot and poached medium and then it would be a 5 star rating.
A great alternative to the amazing Italian fare on The Hill, Carnivore is a top quality steak house (with some pasta options because they are on The Hill after all!). The steaks are on the pricier side, but the quality justifies the expense by far. The sides are ample and the appetizers will satisfy any pallette. Service was impeccable with both attention to detail as well as making sure the customer enjoys the experience. Highly recommended for a first date or a gathering with friends!
Absolutely amazing place and wonderful food. Our server, Annalise (I hope that's spelled right!), Was absolutely amazing! She was fun and had an amazing attitude making our night extremely fun enjoyable.The food was to die for and the drinks tasted fantastic. I had an amazing time and enjoyed everything last night!!!
