The spinach artichoke empanadas were the best thing we had aside from drinks. When we saw Cajun/Creole/Caribe as the description, we expected bold flavors and uniquely spiced food including some heat. Jerk rubbed wings were crispy, but without much flavor other than chicken. The watery coconut sauce that came with them lacked any coconut flavor. Cajun rubbed beef tenderloin had a nice sauce, but there wasn't enough of it
Great food. Service was a tad slow. We were sat at a high top table. I had asked for a standard in the reservation. We didn't know about the specials until we overheard the bartender telling a patron who has sat down at the bar. We had already ordered and been served. We'd give it another go. Nothing horrible and the food is very good!!
Food was delicious. Service was great. Canât wait to go back again.
The food was delicious! Our server Erin was awesome! The entire experience was great!ð
Great drinks and food. There was no rush to eat and go and we had a great meal. My wife is gluten-free and vegetarian and they changed her meal to accommodate her requests. Will definitely go back again
Food was very good. Service was good also. Fun place to go on a Saturday night
Good place
First time back at Boogaloo since way before the pandemic. It hasnât lost its vibe, and the drinks were good. The crab empanadas were spot on, and the creole jambalaya was great. My big issue was with the Cuban paella. One of the mussels shells was still closed, there was noticeable grit in one or two of the others, and there were a couple of mussels that tasted off/kind of bitter (I didnât finish those). For a dish that costed over $20, Iâd expect way more attention to details.
We LOVED our dining experience at Boogaloo! Especially impressed by our amazing server, Lori - please give her a raise asap! She was attentive without interfering with the flow of our conversation, the food was scrumptious, and the drinks delicious. We will definitely be back.
Great food and service! We will be back for sure!!
