Even with reviews sometimes you don't know what to expect. Small but a vibe. We dressed up but totally unnecessary. The food was subpar but ok. Staff friendly and attentive. I ordered Gumbo and Salmon Cakes. Gumbo needs seasoning but I ate it. Salmon cakes were decent but in the darker side. My gf had catfish which was ok, fries lol just ok. The drinks get a thumbs up! I do suggest purchasing seats ahead of time but there is a patio where you can chill and vibe to the sounds. Overall we will be back and suggest you go too!!!
Very nice atmosphere… music was wonderful food was good… staff was pleasant…. A great way to end a weekend getaway
Been coming here for years for music, catfish and okra, but now BB's has brunch on the weekends.
We went on a Sunday with about 20+ for a family brunch. Not disappointed! Great food, menu, and service. All this done with one cook and one server, both amazing! Try the bloody mary!
I did a quick weekend getaway and made reservations for this place they had an amazing live band playing nice crowd and AMAZING FOOD..I TRIED THE FRIED CAT FISH GREENS w (corn muffin) AND MAC n Cheese ? .. definitely will visit and EAT ?HERE AGAIN
Good time with great bands and great service. One of the best bars downtown. Cover charges can be a bit too expensive though.
It was my first time there and I was really excited. Purchased tickets for a show. When I arrived they said that I was standing room only. I went back and forth with management. They eventually found my group a table on the top floor in the back. It was unacceptable. My party and I didn't stay as we couldn't see anything as the guests in front of us were standing enjoying themselves, understandably. The one good thing was the food ?? and drinks.
We only did appetizers which were decent. The band was off the charts though! Shout out to Rocky Mantia and Killer Combo for and outstanding performance!

Idk if maybe I’m spoiled by living in KC but this place has no flavor! I asked what the best thing was on the menu and was told the meatball sub. Ok, whatever but it better have some good spice. Absolutely nothing! I would not recommend this place. Sure the entertainment is fine but don’t eat at bb bland!
