Such good food and a great waitress, Christina!
Love this place! My wife and I went early in the evening and really enjoyed the family atmosphere. We had the lasagna and the sausage and pasta, it was fantastic. We also had the toasted raviolis. The pictures are of it half eaten because we couldn’t wait to dig in!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty enough food! Not a huge fan of pick your own sauce on every pasta dish but to each their own. Salad was decent, pasta had a few too many capers, and salmon had one small bone, but overall a good experience and I would come here again
Very good place to eat on the hill in St. Louis. Authentic Italian food with other options A huge menu. gyro’s, pasta’s cheeseburgers and pizza! Yumm. great flavors. Definitely a must try a pizza is amazing!
Not sure why the Rave. This restaurant is good but nothing is exceptional. I hear the pizza is good and I have yet to try it. I had a shrimp pasta. The shrimp was so over cooked it was tough and the cream sauce was ok but nothing spectacular. I will definitely try this place again since the reviews are so good but I’ve been there twice and so far it’s average.
We wanted to go to the italian Hill for the experience. We were disappointed that is is not a neighborhood area, like Milwaukee, but rather a true neighborhood which would make walking among places difficult. Also the ride from downtown to the restaurant is rather expensive if one does not have a car. That said the restaurant itself is casual and atmosphere okay. The food itself was fantastic. Our waitperson, Alex, seemed to be in a rush, although the restaurant was not croweded. He brought the bill while my spouse was still finishing his meal and did not bother to ask us about coffee or dessert. They do take reservations which is good and the greeters were friendly so a mixed review.
Great service and the baked ravioli was fantastic as was the Italian salad!
Amazing! Seriously delicious food and amazing service. The lobster Ravioli is so good! The Garlic Cheese bread is a must order. The Salmon Pasta is a large portion and has the most delicious capers. The Chicken Parm Sandwich is enough to share and comes with a huge portion of fries or shredded Brussel sprouts. A MUST if you head to the Hill in St. Louis. We will definitely be back because the pizzas and burgers at the table next us looked too good not to try.
Food was terrific excellent service wait 1.5 hours so we ate at the bar . Also food available for carry out would definitely go there again
We chose this restaurant in The Hill neighborhood since it was open earlier than some others and of course it had great reviews. Service was good, our server was friendly. We ordered the toasted ravioli as an app since it's a St.Louis "thing" and just thought they were okay. I don't understand the hype and these were certainly not worth $12 price tag. I did love the thick sauce that was served with the ravioli but the ravioli themselves needed to be larger. For dinner, my husband ordered the lasagna, i ordered a chicken dish and our kid had a basic cheese pizza. We all ate everything down to last bite. Overall, very good and left there full and happy.
