Delicious. Fast service. Good food. They have friend chicken wings. Not my super favorite but they had a great taste. I did love their steak Mexican quesadilla. That was very tasteful. I’ll be back.

The staff was nice and friendly. Told us upfront the wait time on what we ordered. So it would be no surprises. But the food came out before that time frame, hot and delicious.
We live nearby and have never been to Amigo Joe's, so yesterday having been a lovely day - we decided to walk over and sit on the patio.The patio at Amigo Joe's is awesome - but be advised, they don't seat all tables on the patio, currently, because of staffing issues. Be kind - the staff is doing the best they can.It worked out for us - and we were seated on the patio. The hostess was lovely and our server was great, too. No complaints.The chips and salsa were pretty standard issue and they hit the spot while we waited for food.We ordered a regular margarita and a jalapeno margarita - and frankly, they were the worst part of the experience. The margarita tastes like it was poured out of a bottle, instead of being a mixed drink. The waiter did mention that they infuse the tequila with jalapeno for the jalapeno margarita, so if that's true....and they actually mix the margaritas per order - then they're very heavy on sweet/sour or something. We probably won't order them again, unless they are improved. They were way too sweet, not crisp and refreshing at all.My boyfriend ordered the Pork Carnitas and I ordered a Henry Burrito. The carnitas portion seemed large and full of good things. He enjoyed them and said he would have them again. I also enjoyed the Henry Burrito. It was like having some tasty steak/chicken/shrimp fajitas wrapped up in a tortilla and smothered in queso. Yummy!We'll definitely go back - can't beat the convenience! Next time, we'll go with beer, or something else to drink, to enhance the meal.
Amigo Joe’s is great! The food is good, the service is always welcoming and friendly, and the margaritas are awesome (and $1.50 on Monday’s when you order an entree)! We have enjoyed every experience here, and sometimes go two days in a row. Highly recommend for affordable, good food!

Three years ago I rated this place five stars .. Today I have to change it and it saddens me.IFrequently visit this restaurant and usually get The same thing and most of the servers know me and what i get... And over the last year there's been a lot of inconsistenciesWith the seasoning of the food and the service.but i kept coming back for a 2nd and 3rd chance ..tonight was the icing on the cake.. They had some lady ive never seen and apparently understaffed.. I asked for utensils so i could eat Never got them and also never got my side of lettuce... I set there staring at her for 5 mins while shes running around.. and not once looked over at me or brought my silverware so i stood up and asked to pay for the guacamole that we ate and we were leaving and told her why we were upset.. At that point i Shouldnt even have had to pay for that but i offered... This lady brings me a bill with the gauc and dr pepper that i only got to drinkhalf of since i didnt even get to enjoy my meal...i went to find her to tell her i wasnt paying for the drink and she was nowhere to be found... . I left money for the guac and left! I will not be back and it saddens me bc this was our go to for fish tacos and guac but the. Service here is horrible!

Best Mexican restaurant in south city, no question. Amazing food and the service is always super quick and friendly. The tacos locos are the best street tacos I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough. Has become a staple for me.
