This place is wild. Literal hole in the wall. No menu. No one at the window. Just a website where you order online and fantastic sushi emerges from the window. The rolls were enormous and delicious. Like, really good. The actual person in the back was very friendly. When he saw me waiting, he asked who I was and made my rolls first. If I lived in STL, I would be here all the time.

Can’t wait to go back. We got a range of items including a specialty roll and the lemongrass salmon plate. Everything was delicious and exceeded our expectations. (Pictured is the rainbow roll)

Before I get into a big story, just know this: this place is INCREDIBLE. If you like sushi, I'm telling you, GO HERE.OK, I moved to St. Louis after leaving an incredible sushi restaurant in my previous city. When I got here, I tried almost every sushi place in town, and while their sushi was "fine", none of them that I tried were high quality and consistently so. I had been going to another sushi place for the past year or so as it was the best sushi I could find that was consistently good... until now.I found this place almost by accident as I was searching through Google and gave it a try. It blew my mind how good the sushi was. I've gone here for several weeks now, and it's consistently this amazing each time. This small, unassuming place off Gravois is THE BEST sushi restaurant in St. Louis - hands down - in my opinion. It truly lives up to the reputation "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants have. Go here, eat the sushi (I love the Celebration Roll), and thank me later.

Surprising gem in an unexpected location. This place was delicious, and fresh! Portions were huge and my belly was extremely full. Will definitely return soon.

This is one of the best sushi spots in St. Louis. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but we've gotten take out twice and the price/quality/quantity is great. We get rolls and the Chirashi Don and both are so good. Probably the only place I'll be ordering carry out sushi from now on.

My bf and I really enjoyed the food here! We couldn’t even wait till we got back home to dig in. The dumplings and crab rangoon were super yummy and we enjoyed the sushi as well. The service was smooth and they even called to let me know the order was ready. Definitely would return next time we’re craving sushi.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of ingredients and generous portion sizes! I ordered through GrubHub.I typically order for multiple days. I got the shrimp tempura, miso soup, a jalapeño-tuna appetizer, Sake Don bowl, and Sweet Wonder roll. The shrimp tempura also comes with vegetables and was the heaviest of the boxes. Probably 20 pieces of shrimp and vegetables, plus dipping sauce. The batter was sweet and tasty. The miso soup was nice and strong, not watery like I've had elsewhere. I could have eaten a quart of it.The jalapeño-tuna appetizer was just the perfect level of spiciness, with spicy mayo, wasabi mayo, Sriracha, tuna, all in a hollowed-out jalapeño. I love the kick of all those sauces, but wisely saved most of it for another day so I wouldn't get heartburn. The Sweet Wonder roll is my favorite sushi roll in all of St. Louis. It's absurdly large in diameter--since I was eating at home, I stopped trying to use chopsticks and picked it up. The crab, salmon, avocado, and cream cheese go just perfectly together. The Sake Don is in my fridge untouched, but certainly looks delicious. It's salmon on sushi rice with sprouts. I have no doubt it will be tasty.I thought I'd have enough for 2-3 meals but it's likely double that, which makes this an extremely good value. Hooray for affordable sushi!

Some of the best sushi I've had in St Louis! Not a fancy looking restaurant, but the sushi is just as good (and cheaper) than any of the high end restaurants and far better than the cheaper ones.

Yep, the neighborhood might give you pause, but this is the third time we ordered from here and it’s hands down the best in South City! The rolls are large, the price is amazing, and the service is great. We are pretty sure that this is currently a one-man owner operation, and certain it will grow!Favorites so far: White House roll, tempora asparagus (omg!!!), Spicy tuna, crab rag! Super impressed!

I recommend this restaurant!!!! ?So happy this place opened here in S. City! I dont have to drive all over town just to get some decent sushi. And it is more than decent... its delicious! Fresh fish, good size rolls, easy to order, good price, and many options. I prefer more uncooked fish rolls, but that can be a hard ask in some places. My fav so far are Spicy Salmon and Spicy Tuna rolls. One-two rolls will fill you up here, chirashi is good too. Fast service, food ready at pick up time!
