Rolls were too cold to melt the butter. Salad came out, with dinner only three minutes behind. The steak was excellent, but the service needs some serious help. On top of that, we got no refills to our drinks, nor were we even offered hot rolls. Guess we'll be taking a break till they get it together. I'd have expected better on a Thursday night.
The server was fantastic and our food was hot! The extremely expensive drinks we ordered were weak at best straight sour not a hint that these drinks had any kind of alcohol in them and not a lot to choose from. Then you add it was date night for us, we've been married 8 yrs next month we both work 6 days a week so it's important, it was so loud we couldn't have a conversation between the staff screaming over the noise to do their b-day chants and the kid 2 tables over screaming as shrill as deathly possible
Used to love to go to the Texas Roadhouse in St. Joseph, Missouri, but lately there has been problems with service! Not good there…the one in Topeka, Kansas is fantastic!!!IN RESPONSE to management response to my above review, we DID talk to the manager on duty who wasn’t helpful AT ALL; acted like it was his first day and he didn’t know what to do. We talked to our waitress SEVERAL TIMES trying to get my drink which came AFTER the meal! The salad came AFTER the meal! My steak wasn’t done correctly. The whole event was horrible. We had a few other issues with the St. Joseph Resturant before…took my hubby there for his birthday and we said he wanted to be on the saddle to celebrate like they do…waitress wasn’t helpful, she also was upset that we asked for frozen margarita and got one on the rocks. He never got to get on the saddle and we were done with our meal and waitress said oh I will get back to you after I wait on these two tables! What? So, not likely to eat here anymore. And, YES, we always tell the manager on duty!

The service was AMAZING the steak was PERFECT. It's so very rare that I find a place worth the time it takes for me to write a review that i typically don't bother. However today I received the best service from the staff here that I have received in years. Our server CLOHEE Has definitely revived my confidence in what I should expect from a sit down restaurant. The entire experience was like I said before... AMAZING
I am not from Saint Joseph but my fiancee is. First time at a Texas Roadhouse. Ordered the 20 ounce bone in ribeye cooked to a perfect well done steak had corn and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was great the onion blossom was hot and tasty. The Strawberry lemonade was fantastic. Our waitress was on top of everything. Making sure everything was good kept up on the drink refills. Will recommend Texas Roadhouse to everyone I know.
It was very busy as usual. Waitress and food were very good. We haven't been there since before Covid started.
Omg must of hit them on a up side down day ..lots of mistakes but food was amazing.
