Little restaurant, seemed like it was family owned and operated. Salsa was tasty, mild but not like scooping up tomato sauce. Chips were average, not too thick. Lunch prices were very reasonable. We absolutely loved the rice, guacamole and the margaritas were stout and flavorful. I was very pleased with the service, friendly, caring and to the point.
This place is right around the corner from my house and I could not be happier. My husband and I love everything on the menu that we have tried. Service is always great and atmosphere is too!!
Large menu with some familiar stand-bys , but also some more adventurous options. Friendly service, family atmosphere.
Always a good value for your money. Small inside but they turn over fast during the lunch meal. Good prices and chips and salsa is above average spicy. Bathroom never seems to have soap or towels for some reason. But still like to stop in for food.
My wife and I eat here almost constantly. Sotelo may just be the best restaurant in all of St. Joe. The flavors are incredible on every dish we’ve tried, their portion sizes almost always leave you with take-home, and they’re always friendly servers. I’ve never had one negative thing to say about Sotelo. It’s the best Mexican food I’ve had in the state of Missouri and, as I said, maybe the best restaurant overall in this whole town.
Over paid 40$, burrito barley had carne asada in it, ask for corn Tortillas got flour. If you like it you like it. Better places out there with better flavor.
Loved the Menudo. Very authentic and great amount of spice! Husband loved the chicken empanadas and beans & rice were yummy too! Salsa delivered a bit of a kick without being too hot. GREAT lunch!
Staff is Friendly and the food was delivered fast for my to go order ! Can't wait to dine in !!
