We were staying at Stoney Creek Hotel for an All-Star tournament this past weekend. We headed over to Red Lobster for dinner Saturday night (7-9-22). The wait for a table was short. The waitress wasn't doing horrible but wasn't super attentive either. They weren't very busy but our food took over an hour. The waitress did apologize once we asked about the situation and said the kitchen was short staffed. Seems the norm lately. Finally got our food and it was sub-par at best. We LOVE Red Lobster and have never had cold or questionable food at other locations. My daughters Lobster tail was way over cooked, old or both. It was dry and brownish. They did comp my husbands Ultimate Feast because literally everything was cold. We didn't ask. They just did it. But the rest just wasn't worth the money. Wasn't great. Wasn't the normal good food. I was nauseous a few hours after being there. Never threw up but sure wish I had. Hopefully this was a one time incident, they can find more help and make it better. Definitely disappointing.
The place was not very busy only a handful of tables and the hostess was obviously not to happy to be there but she sat us at a table and left. We waited 20 minutes and still no server/waiter. We seen a couple of tables seated after us and they got served and ordered by other waiters. We finally went up to the front and the hostess said thanks for coming in. We told her that we still hadn’t been seen by the server so she went in the back and we waited 5 more minutes and finally decided that they were not worth our time. We haven’t been to this restaurant in a over a year and We definitely do not plan on coming back.
The service was good, and we were seated quickly. But my food was nasty. I ordered Cajun Chicken Pasta, and there was so much oil just sitting in the dish that I couldn't eat it. I tried to soak it up with a napkin and there was so much that didn't even help. We showed the waiter, but he didn't seem to care. He just brought us the check.
I didn't think the live lobster was worth the price for me. I spent 80 bucks on two meals (after the tip) it was good but that day just wasn't the right day. The people are nice and service was pleasant. Over all not something I want to spend that much money for.
This staff went above and beyond to make our parents anniversary very special! My sister and I live hours away from them, but they managed to pull off a surprise lunch for them! Thank you to the manager, Sarah and all of the staff at this St Joseph Red Lobster!
Great customer service, yummy and hot food. The waitress has a great smile and personality.I would recommend checking out this place as you are driving through as it is located along I-29.
Our food was amazing!! The best I’ve ever eaten at Red Lobster. The hubby ordered endless shrimp and they kept the shrimp coming. I ordered Cajun Chicken Linguine with extra sauce and it was amazing!! Our waitress was on top of things with filling out tea and keeping the shrimp coming. Very excellent all the way around.
First off the restaurant is clean and the restrooms were stocked and fresh. The food and the employees deserve nothing less than excellent for a review. Exactly what you expect from your experience.
Kinda expensive but it was nice to see the hostess, Dixie again. I had the Ultimate Serf n Turf and it was fantastic. Thank you Tyler S. our waiter, the manager, chef and all who made sure my food did not have any black pepper in it as I am allergic to it. ???? Great way to spend my birthday lunch!!!
We came here because of seafood pasta cravings and were not let down. The calamari appetizer was good as you could actually taste the delicate calamari. I did the choose 3 meal and selected flounder, scallops and clam straps, my wife did the shrimp Alfredo linguini. All the food was great! I chose to rate our visit at 3 stars because of the time to receive our food after ordering and an error on our order, no huge deal. Our server was very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was comfortable and family friendly.
