My first time at one of these and wow! I wish there were more. Great food! Good prices! They grill it all fresh right in front of you, I'm a fan.
We were there on 2/12/2022 around 1:00 pm. The girl taking the order can not multi task AT ALL we were ask multiple times what we wanted on our food only to get it wrong anyway in the end....the food was sub par. The trash overflowing and I wouldn't recommend using the bathroom..the girl running the register and the manager were nice the other two employees definitely need more training in listening and people skills. The beer was cold that was good. Will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
I work for doordash but every time I come to this merchant to pick up an order the employees never acknowledge me until they actually give me the order. I've even heard one young lady say that she hates doing doordash and that she always makes us wait until they wait on every customer in line even though the customer who's order I'm picking up order is already in.
We are a regular here so we came here for lunch and one of the day shift workers need some more training on paying attention! My bf asked for ranch on his philly he didn’t put ranch instead he put olives , we ordered cheese fries & he gave us regular fries so I go back up there and tell him & he said he didn’t ring it up so he rang up a cup of cheese and that is almost $4? Really . The night shift workers are where it’s at !
The sandwiches are good and so is the service. My only knock is that the you have to pay an upcharge for the steak. Just seems weird to upcharge for the cheese steak at a cheese steak restaurant.
The young girl keyana, keyera, I cant remember her name exactly was working the grill. She was super attentive and very good at her job. She works well under pressure and values providing great service. She was a top notch employee and deserves praise from management. I will be back just because of her.
3rd time there great food and they were spot on with service waitress was very attentive to provide outstanding service we look forward to next visit
Had the Philly Cheese Steak of course, the food was great, but the restaurant was a little dirty. There were only 3 people working and they were very busy when I was there so I can forgive them for not having everything spotless...
Doesn't it look good. Well as the saying goes, looks can be VERY deceiving. Service was superrrrr slow, and I called like four times before I even arrived to place my order. When I walked in, they were carelessly "cleaning" the restaurant, but mostly standing around, talking.... To add to that, the manager came out the back and didn't even care that there was a long line piling in on a Sunday, but I guess why care about other people's time?Okay, why the one star? I got the philly cheese steak which I thought was cooked well ? The young lady added what looked to be day-old soggy tomatoes to my sandwich, and of course, instead of being impolite or wanting to cause a scene to tell her to take it off. I just accepted it, since service was already beyond slow and there were only two people working. WRONG MISTAKE❗ I was sick for literally 3 days, which I'm sure was either salmonella poisoning. The awful feeling I felt during those three days were so horrendous, I wouldn't wish I on my worse enemy. If you care anything about your health, stay away from this place or ensure that your meat is properly cooked and the veggies are fresh to date. Oh yeah, and the fries had so much seasoning salt on them, I couldn't even finish them. Thankfully, I didn't even want to. For those of you with high blood pressure, definitely don't order their fries!
I am a Philadelphia native so selling me on a Philly cheese steak from anywhere other than South Philly is nearly impossible to do! Pepperjax was definitely Not a True Philly however I must say, it was well seasoned, a generous portion of steak and cheese, the roll was not soggy nor did it fall apart, and All in All it was quite tasty. I enjoyed my first Pepperjax and I would definitely give them another try. Great effort and thank you.
