I absolutely loved this place! We traveled from KCMO to Amazonia, Mo for business and stopped in at Pappy’s for a cocktail and lunch on the way home. First of all, how great is Ty, the bartender? Knowledgeable in his job, so easy to talk to about literally anything. Thank you Ty for the hospitality! Hector made my salmon perfectly as ordered and the salad was delicious. The walls are covered in interesting and cute pictures, and the glassware was really neat. Everything was absolutely sparkling clean. I will definitely have to stop in next time I’m in St Joseph on business. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband decided to take a Saturday afternoon drive. Stopped at this place and it was a great choice. Great food, wonderful service, and the decor kept you laughing and entertained while waiting for your food which didn’t take long at all. Will definitely return and tell others about it.

What a wonderful diamond on the rough! Super sized menu for a bar. Many, many burger options. The burger arrived quickly, hit and delicious. The Patty was larger than your average bar burger, well seasoned, juicy. The bun was steamed and soft, but held up to the big burger. French fries were crinkle cut, hot and delish. Everyone was super friendly, our server was great. My husband ordered iced tea which is served in a small pitcher. We got a chuckle out of that. Price was very fair.
