Mokaska is truly a cultural hub in Downtown St. Joseph. I love their support of local artists, their creative events, and ongoing dedication to maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere. Their coffee is delish and their food items are divine!

Beautiful coffee shop with delicious coffee. I ordered espresso beans and when I went to pick them up, I spilled my full coffee on the floor. The people working were so kind. I felt so bad for making a huge mess but the ladies working were so nice about it. They made me a new coffee and the gal mopping was so kind to chat. They turned my rough day into a sweet spot.
My favorite coffee shop in Saint Joseph. They frequently have different homemade baked goods available and they're always delicious. I just started regularly grinding my own coffee beans at home a few months ago and after trying a few different brands (Peet's, Simply Nature, Barissimo, Hazel's (local)), I've found that Mokaska's beans are by far my favorite- plus, you get a free cup of brew when you purchase beans in their shop! There are unfortunately no coffee shops in town that serve my favorite espresso drink, the Cortado, but they do offer the Gibraltor which is similar - none of the other shops offer anything even close to it. They also serve alcoholic drinks and make their own syrups which are also very good, and frequently have local musicians performing on weekends.
I drove from KC, MO to give this place a try. Very good in-house roasted beans, excellent single-origin v60 pour-over, and very relaxed atmosphere, Open till 11pm on weekends. Highly recommend!
One of my go-to local coffee joints. Service is always fantastic. Coffee is always on point and the in house made flavored syrups make every latte a seasonal treat. Need to visit for drinks in the evening and one of their famous live music or in house events.
Thank you for the amazing Valentine's Day event! The employees went above & beyond. The food and drinks were fantastic (not to mention great prices) and the location was beautiful! We'll be back for our morning coffee dates!
Love this place. If you haven’t tried their cocktail flight nights, you are missing something special. Lots of good drinks and amazing staff!!
1st visit . We hung out today, had some coffee, played a game with friends, perfect time. Looking forward to using the patio when it gets to be warmer.
