Love that there are so many different flavors of shakes and malts and that they serve other food items besides just the ice cream
Had a shake and got my dog a small soft serve for a treat. They had a"pup cup" for her, and a shake for me..the small shake was creamy and satisfying, and my dog loved her soft serve.
We've been waiting all winter for this establishment to open. I love swirl cones and since we moved from WA state I have yet to find a swirl cone made w real cream here that hits the mark. This place has by far been the best I've found close by. Their rootbeer floats were great and I love their large straws.
Very wonderful place! The people were nice and the options of where to sit were cool. I really liked the Oreo Volcano Sundae I had. It was very very good and their were giant chunks of brownie in it!
Ice Cream was delicious. So many flavors to choose from. Service was quick. Super friendly.
My wife and I go once a month or more, this is a cherry mash twister with extra cherry mash. Not pleased with how little was added.
Honestly I don't like soft serve ? as much as real ice cream ?. However the ambiance is a major selling point and I like to support local business.A little while ago there was a change in ownership/management and while they raised the prices they also improved the quality substantially. So if you haven't been in a while give it a try.
We ordered a large sundae with the included two toppings, but they insisted on charging us for a specialty sundae since it was the same two toppings. We decided to give it a try anyway, but it was very disappointing. There was only about a tablespoon of whipped cream and barely any hot fudge sauce. The majority of the fish was their soft serve vanilla, which tasted like a cheap watered down soft serve from a convenience store. Definitely not worth the $7 price tag!
Love the nostalgia and frisky staff. They even had an ice cream for our service dog.
Just wanted to post on here how upset we were at Kris & Kates. It’s not the ice cream, it’s the management. On a Friday night a poor young woman was working completely by herself with over 6-7 cars in the drive through consistently and others coming to the window to order. She frequently apologized for this issue, to no fault of her own. I felt so horrible for her. Not sure how this happened…
