Excellent food and service.
Incredible food in a rustic setting. Very relaxing and the food was delicious. Service is a little slow however they were fully booked. I'd definitely recommend.
As always, service, food and atmosphere hasn't changed since Amber and crew have taken over. Our family has been going to Frederick Inn for 50 years for dinner, celebration, and catching up with old friends. The transition between owners has been seamless. Amber has a chef coming up with really different daily specials both for lunch and dinner. The honey garlic pork chops, twice baked potatoes and especially their famous rolls and Cinnamon rolls were so satisfying and mouth watering as would be expected. My husband's clam strip dinner was enough for two people. Their salad bar doesn't have as many offerings as prepandemic but still very good and very fresh. Be sure to have the macaroni/pasta salad if available. So so good.
We were looking for a nice dinner place. It's an old quaint building and so are some of the fixtures. Wait staff extremely busy, but friendly. Seemed to take a few minutes longer than normal for us, however it was good. Prices reasonable, and food tasted good.
Food was good and waitress was nice. I felt like the place could've been fancier, but maybe that's me. Otherwise it was good
Reservation only. Wonderful ribeye with blue cheese sauce. Best prime rib around. Drink specials are extremely tasty. This place is a must to visit.
If you are looking for ok home cooking, this maybe your place. Our visit was as follows: A terrible salad bar, with brown wilting iceberg lettuce. A low assortment of fixings. No cheese, olives or carrots and very few items that would be in other restaurants salad bars. The fried chicken was juicy and after I applied copious amounts of salt and pepper it was tasty. The service was good and the restaurant was clean but uninspired. The other patrons seemed happy but for the price, the food and the atmosphere just did not add up.It was as if I had stepped back into 1977, and admittedly that maybe the appeal.Sorry, but in this day and age I expect more than 1977 fare and trappings.
The best hot beef sandwich! Friendly, good service and great menu.
Amazing food, delicious salad bar with amazing homemade soups and salads are also homemade. Pies were amazing as well! Top notch prime rib. We had an amazing waitress as well.
Had the following: pepper Jack macaroni and cheese bites, the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, fried zucchini, and the triple chocolate threat cake with French vanilla ice cream. The only item that was disappointing was the chicken fried steak, which seemed much more bland compared to the others. Everything else was great. I particularly would recommend their macaroni and cheese bites. Honestly, I should have just had that and the cake on its own.Parking is alright, there is some parking in the back. It’s shared with other businesses and may not be well maintained, particularly in the winter. Would not recommend parking on the main highway. The venue is great, particularly their bar side where I had a great view of traffic zooming along Frederick street.
