It's a sad, sad day. Currently looking for a new favorite hamburger place, since Freddy's serves pink slime and not real meat. My husband's burger was SO red it looked raw. That's NOT real meat and no one can convince me otherwise, certainly not the overbearing little punk who wanted to argue with me, nor the manager who claimed that it was the new meat supplier. And they didn't even give us our money back. We paid for an inedible meal and didn't even get an apology.
We usually never have any problems, and today when I went and picked up our order at the counter I ask for some Freddy's sauce, the guy gave me 2 small containers. Then I ask him for more and he was happy to go get me some and he was stopped by another gal worker and she said we only give out 1 sauce per fry order, really. Then if thats the case, either out the container back out on the counter or make the container of sauce bigger, because some people like using the sauce for their fries and to put on our hamburgers.Really doubt if we go back to Freddy's again, we will go down the road to 5 Guys.
We eat here most during our volleyball season, love this place!
Very good food and loved the decor. The only complaint I have is that none of the tables were cleaned off very good. It was not very busy and it looked as if there was a full staff working. This was the day before Easter at about 4:45 p.m.
Any interesting Missouri stop for a classic malt shop burger. This reminded me of the burgers I'd get when visiting the local burger place on Main Street in a small town. An interesting french fry also in that it was thin and crispy.
Delicious as always, food was great, staff was very nice, and I just had an overall good experience.
Stopped with the softball team between games for a spot of lunch. The service was good and the food was quite tasty. The cheese curds rivaled state fair curds... excellent! The burger is a smash burger with crispy edges. It was good but I'm not a huge fan of that style of burger... prefer a juicy burger medium rare. But knowing Freddy's style, it was as expected, with thin crispy fries... just what we needed. We'll be back if we're in st jo.
I prefer the big style fries. Not a big fan of the shoe string styleThe hamburger are way way to thin and over cooked. But I really liked the crisp chicken sandwich. The long sliced pickles was great. Just need more than two on a sandwich. 4 or 5 slices would be better.
Love Freddy’s food. The staff worked well together and there was a positive vibe in the restaurant. The order was filled quickly, accurately for our picky eater, and the restaurant was clean. Restrooms were clean. Can’t ask for much more than that.
I ordered a medium vanilla milkshake with pineapple with some food. I go to get a drink and it literally tastes like chemicals. I couldn’t swallow it. I had to immediately spit it out. I had my fiancé try it and he did the same thing. He said there’s something in it that’s not supposed to be. I called up to the store to tell the manager and she told me she didn’t believe me and there’s nothing she could do. Then she started arguing with me so I hung up. I’m 4 months pregnant. Let’s hope whatever chemical was in that won’t hurt me in any way. I’m very disappointed in how it was handled. Don’t not take the risk to go there. They obviously do not care about cross contamination!
