My wife and I visited this establishment for lunch over the holiday weekend. Amidst the staffing difficulty being experienced at the time our server took great care of us, the drinks were spot on and the food was good and filling. The restaurant itself was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. We both chose a signature salad after having a 3 combo appetizer and left a lot fuller in the belly than we expected to be. All in all it was a decent time.
We are from out of town, we waited 10 minutes at the front of the restaurant, to be seated. Then we waited another 10 minutes at our table for a waitress, while 3 of them stood in the back on their phones. Manager? Maybe they should have one there every shift. Service would have been fine if they were actually working. It’s wasn’t lack of staff, it was lack of working.
Our waitress was wonderful. The drinks, appetizer and meal were delicious and filling. We enjoyed playing the trivia option at the table.
I went today around 2:30 (avoiding the lunch rush). I ordered the rib eye (med well) w/broccoli & street corn. The rib eye was tough, chewy & no flavor/seasoning WHAT SO EVER. The street corn was so bad it was almost dehydrated. Also my med well steak was very much well done. On an up note the brocolli & cheese fries I had for an appetizer was good! I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all!!! The waitress was awesome tho!
Amqzing service today. Very quiet and fast. We picked a great time. Servings were big and taken home. Amazing job to the staff, fast and friendly.
Wasn't impressed with the food at all. I had the burger with avocado on it (1 tiny slice is all it was) and french fries. The burger was very flavorless and those were the worst fries I've ever eaten. Very blah and bland. Not to mention I needed a refill on my water for quite some time before I got a refill. It was my 1st time at a Chili's and I'm sure it will be my last. Had I been by myself and not with a group I probably would have left just on the cleanliness of the restaurant. Not impressed
We had to send back an order twice and they still didn't get it right. Couldn't wait for the third due to going to the movies. It was supposed to be a good time for me and my grandson, it was his food they couldn't get right. The server never offered anymore water. They weren't busy at all. My salad had hardly any dressing on it. Our waiter never came to see if everything was OK. Not a good experience for us.
Chili's, Saint Joseph, has improved there quality. Their bussing of tables, possibly due to help needs, could use improvement. Waiting service from our waitress was attentive, continual and responsive. The food has improved from the last time visited over two years ago. Last time I didn't grade them because they were not even close to the national standards the chain matches in other state locations I've visited, but Saint Joseph has come along way. I recommend one visit if it's been awhile & see for yourself how they have turned their act around & enjoy a nice meal with great service.
It was pretty busy but got seated in 15 minutes or less. Server was very attentive, nice and got orders correct. Food was very good.
The food is good when we got it did take quite a while and you could tell the server was new but I will go back
