Bustling place. Luckily we arrived in between busy spurts. Waitress was quick to acknowledge us. Quick to bring hot coffee and very, very pleasant. Informative, knew her specials and helped me decide. Food arrived quickly after ordering. Every one we observed eating seemed happy/pleased during their meal. Reviews were good. Food was good. Ample serving sizes. Affordable prices. Cooked as ordered. While many reviews expressed a lack of seasoning. I did appreciate that our food wasn't extremely salty. Today there were 2 specials were #1 was two pancakes, eggs, bacon, and #2 was biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon. We also ordered a side of hashbrowns with gravy on the side. All of this and 2 cups of coffee for less than $20. The atmosphere was worth the trip. Food decent. Coffee was hot and fresh. Waitress was top notch. Enjoyed finding this home town style restaurant. Thanks for making these two travelers feel at home and welcome. Recommend this location. Will check it out again on another trip through here.
Betty's cafe is a jewel! A staple in the south end of town. Always packed, but friendly and efficient staff. Only open from 6am to 2 pm, and cash only!
I ordered one of the most simple breakfast, biscuits and gravy. Bland no taste and in my 54 years of from the south,north,and west,and of course moms, I wouldn't recommend it.
I had the biscuits and gravy special and my husband had the Western omelet. Lightest biscuits I’ve ever had! The sausage patty was yummy also. My husband said the omelet and hash browns were very good. On top of all that, we got service with a smile. Please know that it’s cash only.
Good home cooked meals at a reasonable price, friendly staff. If it’s full (seating) everyone waits patiently their turn.
First of all, it’s cash only. There is a bank and atm across the street. Had the daily special of potato soup with grilled cheese and an extra side of devilled eggs. Had cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The grilled cheese sandwich was excellent. The potato soup was bland and I ended up over seasoned it. Deviled eggs were surprisingly sweet and I had never tasted anything like it. On the fence about whether I like it or not. Cherry cobbler is pretty good. Parking is fine. I think the food is definitely hyper local, so if you’re used to this style you will probably love it. Outsiders should be prepared.
The best ham and cheese omelette! Great friendly customer service and a great price! I can’t wait to go back! Yum yum yum!

Small town cozy diner. Friendly service. Food is really quick and is good. Portions are large and prices are low. Nice hometown feel. It is cash only though. But ATM across street.
