Who knew, happiness could be achieved by simply ordering a waffle ice cream cone. And to think, this whole time I’ve been wasting my time trying to meditate my way to happiness. But seriously you guys, this place has a fun vibe, with a cordial and welcoming staff, and terrific tasting ice cream! They have definitely put a lot of time and energy into making the customer experience a memorable one.
Very nice themed fountain soda shop and ice cream parlor. This place made me feel like a kid again getting ice cream with my grandparents. There is an old time radio playing music by the front. There are barstools and a nice clean countertop to sit and enjoy your dessert. Staff was friendly and explained the options well. We ordered an Ice Cream Soda in Rootbeer phosphate flavor, mixed with a butter toffee ice cream! This was fantastic and delicious. When we come back to town we will definitely return.
SugarBot Creamery is a very fun and "retro" ice cream shop! I think the last time that I saw the word "phosphate" in print was back in AP Chem a million or so years ago. At SugarBot, phosphate sodas (sort of ancestors of milkshakes) are available for purchase, and although I didn't get one on my visit, I can state that their ice cream was excellent! I got a two-scoop sundae with hot fudge, and I'm glad that I went for two flavors (one was Java chip, and one peanut butter-chocolate). Whipped cream and a cherry on top, of course! The kids were over the moon, and really everyone had a great time there. My son got the 'Happiest Birthday' ice cream flavor in a waffle cone. I will say that the prices for the single scoop are very reasonable, but the prices for the double seem slightly high. Doing the math, they are almost exactly double the price of the single, so there is essentially no savings for getting more. I'd love to feel like I'm getting a big of a bargain with a larger size, but other than that I have no complaints! They did put the ice cream on a scale when they scooped it, which was a good idea.
Birthday cake doesn’t taste like what you think birthday cake should taste like… but still a beautiful shake!
The staff were super patient & friendly as they answered our questions before we made our decisions. The atmosphere of the soda shop was fun with a old upright radio & swivel stools at the counters. This was a great place for the family to come for dessert! The portions were generous; the desserts were delicious!
The ice-cream is fantastic! I had the Honeycomb Toffee.
The way they run the store it seems they are very money hungry. You buy you’re ice cream and while your standing with a melting cone in your half they are asking for more money before they hand you a cup for your ice cream. They refused to give me a cup for ice cream after I purchased and ice cream cone. They hand me a Dixie cup for mouth wash instead. And blame it on the manager. If it’s a management issue management should reconsider they way they run that. If not employees need to appease to costumers.
Ice-cream is my go too. I just love it. The ice-cream in this shop is absolutely amazing. The flavors are so authentic. The prices are very reasonable. The service was above and beyond. I had the Honey Toffee and topped it with caramel and white chocolate. I really cannot wait to come back and try other flavors.
Ur very welcome we really enjoyed our ice cream last night ? hopefully we can stop by when we make another trip that way
Loved the atmosphere...a real old-fashioned vibe with interesting ice cream flavors. While many flavors incorporated things like pie send cookies and cinnamon rolls, there were a few gluten-free flavors to enjoy. I had Mark's Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss. Quite tasty!
