We stopped in today with a fairly large group of people and our orders were taken and received quite promptly. I thought the coffee was fabulous and everyone’s food looked really good as well! As we were leaving we were informed the hired staff are all with different abilities. Had we not been told that, I would have never known. They all did fantastic! What a great way to start your day. We will definitely be back!

This place is so cute, calm, cozy. I ordered a fruit smoothie and it was delicious! What a great experience. Will be back again!

I am very disheartened by the hateful reviews on here. I visited for the first time today and had a great experience. I loved that the person working didn't act as if I was bothering them when I took a long time to order. He made my drink promptly and I really enjoyed it. All of the sizing and prices were clearly marked. I appreciated how calm it was there. A lot of coffee shops are too stimulating for me. It was decorated really cute for Christmas. I liked looking around while I waited. I immediately noticed the sign at the register that stated some employees have different abilities, and to show a little grace. When I left I looked up the business and found out they employ people with autism. This made me like this business even more. Upon reading the reviews, and finding the owner standing up for her staff, I will 100% be back! We need more places like this. Thank you for helping those with differences. Our community appreciates you.

We are in town visiting and instead of Starbucks I thought we could try something local. I got a dark chocolate mocha with an extra shot of espresso which the total cost me over $8 for just my drink. I received my drink, took a sip, and it tasted like warm chocolate water. I couldn’t even taste the espresso! Took a few sips hoping it would taste better. It was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. I do not recommend this coffee shop if you’re wanting espresso.

I had been wanting to try this place, so I stopped in this morning. Awkward experience overall and the espresso was extremely overpriced and quite frankly I threw it straight in the trash after one drink. Disappointed overall.

First time customer this morning. I normally go to Starbucks & wanted to find something closer. I didn’t think it would meet my standards, however I was very wrong. I debated between an iced coffee & hot coffee. I chose the hot coffee with heavy cream and It was hands down the BEST hot coffee I have ever had. The woman and the man were both very welcoming. 10/10 recommend !

I just picked up a latte and banana bread. I ordered at the counter and quickly received my food. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for my coffee and all three workers just stared at me. Come to find out, the coffee orders come out at the back. I wish someone would have told me

I absolutely LOVE this cute coffee shop!! It’s so close to my house and I love the owner she makes my day bright!! I love all the sweets and coffee

So, I am breezing through STL on my way back to Chattanooga and I look up a local coffee shop. I skip St. Louis BreadCo and Starbucks and settle on Sugar Beans Coffee House. It's in a strip mall. I look through the windows and I'm not impressed. I mutter, "This may not work" to myself.I walk through the door. No guests. I look at the checkout counter. A lady was there, waiting for me to look in her direction and politely says "Good morning."It takes so little to make a huge difference. She was at the checkout counter. Ready and patiently waiting to take my order. She just stood there and politely waited. I wasn't a bother to her. I was HER customer.I was so distracted by her calm, patient, courteous demeanor that I didn't even pay attention to the price of the coffee. I don't know this lady's name but she was just perfect polite and courteous. But wait, there's more. I found a seat and then started to look around. Very nicely decorated for Fall with a little.pumpkin on each table and some other harvest items that represent Autumn. And the music was subtle and calm in the back ground.Even better: the two employees are not banging around make ten tons of noise. When they talk to each other, it's low and subtle and not yelling across at each other. In short: I highly recommend this very nice hole in the wall.

The choices are amazing, creative and tasty! We loved coming here.
