We really liked Sauce on the Side! The calzones are huge, so go to share or eat bigly.I ordered the Fatty B, with mozzarella, ricotta, roasted garlic, onions, pepperoni, and meatball. The meatball was in slices. A marinara was served on the side. The calzone was served piping hot, with a great buttery crust. Somehow the ricotta was not warmed. If you picture a calzone as a pizza folded in half, the ricotta was where the center of the pizza would be, along the fold. Not sure why it was not as hot as the rest of the calzone. It was still quite good. The rest of the ingredients were kind of like in the middle, which left a lot of the crust empty. This, too, was not a bad thing necessarily. My partner ordered a different calzone, and found the side of marinara too spicy (she is very sensitive to spice). We swapped and it was fine, but there is apparently a different side for each calzone. They have traditional Coke products in cans, and some other bottled and canned drinks, as well as a fountain machine with generic, all natural flavors. They were very tasty. There were desserts, but we were quite full from the entree and passed. The regular flavors on the menu sounded amazing. The staff were very helpful and kept busy cleaning the tables. This is a cool place to get hearty food.

The service was excellent. It was our first time and the person ate the counter told about the specials and what was good. My wife is allergic to garlic and he made sure the kitchen staff was aware. The food was excellent. I had the Duke which was spicy but not overwhelming. She had the Meet me in St. Louie and it was excellent as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

You might not think that a calzone place could be very creative or have a lot of options and make you want to come again and again. This place does exactly that. There are many different calzones to choose from, they are all delicious and creative with the fillings and ingredients chosen. Every sauce I’ve had has been wonderful, The atmosphere is fun, warm, and inviting, with friendly staff as well as not too long of a wait for orders, I absolutely love this place and will continue to return.

Amazing! I grew up surrounded by Italian restaurants and I have never had a calzone that was as light and flaky as these. The portion size is perfect, and the staff are wonderful. I love this place.

Never heard of of this chain until I drove by, but I am glad I stopped! So many delicious options, I'm definitely going to have to stop back in and try more!

We have eaten here 3 times, food has been good every time. It's the type of place where you walk in and walk up the counter to tell them what you want to eat, and pay. They hand you a table flag with a picture on it. You find a table and fill up your cup at the fountain soda machine, that's if you didn't buy a can or bottle. Then they bring your food out to you. When you leave, you leave your plates and cups on the table. There are 2 tvs in the dining area. There is a patio outside. I look forward to sitting out there in the summer. The Duke is my favorite calzone. Here's the ingredients: BBQ Chicken, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Corn Salsa, Smoked Cheddar, Mozzarella, Smoked Chili Oil. I really like the BBQ ranch dipping sauce. It's not hot-spicy.If you can't find any parking, try the underground parking lot on the opposite side of the Drury Hotel or the parking garage by the AMC.

Holy garlic. My mouth is literally burning from the amount of garlic that was stuffed in my calzone. I also got the buffalo bites, and they were just dough balls with an crunchy outside. No buffalo flavor.

My little brother and I come in here today as first-timers and left as future regulars. Not only is the staff kind and knowledgeable, which always helps, but the calzones are incredible. The seasonings make this dish taste thought out. Even the dining ware, cloth napkins, cool glasses, & old fashioned soda options were just such a great touch! Very happy we found this place. I wish that I took a picture, but that was the last thing on my mind as soon as the aroma hit my nose. Well done!

Food and service was great! But, the table situation is problematic if busy. You seem to have to compete for tables. Even if you have been there a while, another group can hover by tables and take before you. Had a bit of an ugly situation where a people would just grab the table before I could...even when obviously we were there waiting. Dude just sat down like a challenge in willingness to argue or fight. I saw others with same issues where they knew the game, had their kids span out and take a table.I guess the game is to secure a table before ordering.I don't want to fight for a table. I'm too kind.Otherwise, the place is great!

Staff was very attentive with sharing the progress of my order. Both salad and pasta was good. I will come back to try other menu items.
