This burger was the best I had in St. Charles, unfortunately the service was not so good. Waited a good 10 minutes for my water, nobody asked if U needed a refill until I was ready to pay. Definitely would give it a try again!
The chicken wings were possibly the best I've ever had!! Great burgers too!! Long beer list and delicious cocktails. I would give it a 6 if I could.
We were staying the night at the local rv park and went downtown to the historic main Street. Many places to choose from but this place was not crowded at all. The waiter was super nice and immediately greeted us and had waters and beer on the table. It took a really long time to get the food even though we were the only ones eating. The patty melt was descent. The fries were great. The burger and chicken sandwiches my sons had were excellent according to them. Good service until it came time to pay and we never saw the waiter again. We waited about 10 minutes to pay and finally paid cash and left.
The burgers are excellent! They taste like what steak ‘n Shake used to taste like. A fresh Smashburger. They also have excellent ranch dressing! And if you’re a ranch dressing connoisseur, you know how important that is.
Get the chicken wings-fire honey and BBQ are so crispy and so good. The burgers are delicious as well but we go back for the wings!
Went in for lunch today with my wife. We were greeted as we walked in and seated immediately. We each had a single cheeseburger, draft Budweiser and spilt a large tater tot. Food came out quickly and was great. Burgers were done perfectly, buns were fresh and tasty. I can’t believe I’m about to rave about tater tots but dang, they were the best I’ve ever had and I’m pushing 70 years old. Great services, friendly people and good food- what else can you ask for?
My fiancée and I stumbled upon the Burger Underground last night and were happy we did! We got a perfect seat by the window to watch Music on Main. Our waitress was also so kind and attentive. Tried the Patty Melt with no regrets! We will definitely be back.
Honestly dont usually leave bad reviews but some some constructive criticism for the owner:-Please Season your Burgers it is apparent that all you get on these burgers is plain beef and whatever toppings they list on the menu.-Please make sure the bar staff is really doing standard drinks. I had the Tipsy Palmer and it seemed like it was just plain tea. I also watched two people across from me send drinks back for the same reason.This was my first and last time here. Hopefully you can find a way to make th experience here better!
Had the Patty Melt and it was delicious. Our waitress Claire the best. Every employee offering to help. Great experience.
We have loved their burgers. We dined in once on the second day they were open and the service was definitely slow but it was Fete De Glace and they literally just opened so we understood and thankfully the burgers were worth the wait! Since then we have only ordered to go but the burgers have still been great each time. We haven't really liked their fries but find the tots to be a bit better. I will say, when using online ordering, we have requested additional toppings on one of the burgers twice and have not gotten it but paid for it so we are going to try calling in our order next time in hopes of actually getting what we ordered/paid for. But I am still giving them 5 stars because we have enjoyed their burgers so much.
