For context, I consider nachos to be a food group. So, when possible I get the nachos. Based on the other positive reviews, we stopped in for lunch after hours of driving.So, the nachos:? Lots of toppings, which is a good thing because I love a chip with lots of toppings. Tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole is creamy, blanco queso is on pointe!?The no bueno parts:I prefer pickled jalapeños, they use fresh jalapeños. Carne asada was tough, not warm enough, and pretty flavorless. Wish I got the ground beef instead.So while I'd love to give them 5 ? because the service was fabulous, the nachos were "good".

She had the Taco Salad with chicken, I had the El Durango Dinner. Her's was the best Taco Salad she has had this year with a well balanced combination of chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and generous helpings of guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. She commented that it could have benefitted from some more different vegetables.I chose the El Durango Dinner because I haven't seen it on a menu before. And while I had a taste for cheese and beans, I couldn't pass the opportunity to try something different. The tilapia, shrimp, sauce and rice were good. I'd call it a dinner for a light appetite though.When we were first seated in the center section of this three section restaurant, we were immediately greeted by our waitress with menus. She took our drink orders and was back pronto with two large sweet teas, a basket of chips, and some very good salsa. Our food orders were taken and the food arrived quickly and hot.This is a good Mexican restaurant with a friendly staff offering a greater variety of authentic foods than some others. We'll be back to try their Ceviche...

Great service. The food is truly amazing! It's not your standard Mexican food menu, it has items on there you can't find anywhere else including a breakfast dish we discovered in Mexico and fell in love with. The ceviche is a delight and all the sauces, salsa we tried were high quality and delicious! They also feature 4x4 brewing Co, which is really good! I'll definitely come back.
Something about the Arroz con Pollo just gets me every time I visit. The food has been hot and delicious each time it has been brought to my table. The staff is always friendly and there seem to be plenty of seating. Just remember that during lunch or dinner it can get very busy inside. The choices are plentiful and you'll have something new to try each time you visit.
This place is great for lunch or dinner. Their menu has breakfast as well and I will have to give this a try. Their tacos are amazing and are a great value on Tuesday. The staff is top notch and take care of you in every way. I will always come back to this place! Give it a try!
This is the best Mexican food in Springfield Mo!!! I love everything from this gift to our city. The tacos are a Tuesday must and the beans are crave worthy! Perches does not disappoint!
