I had fried zucchini with my Turkey and Brie sandwich. I discovered a hair in the zucchini batter. I told the waiter he offered to bring me more but at that point my appetite was ruined I told him no thank you. He took $1.40 off my meal. It should have been free considering I didn’t eat hardly any of it.
The happy hour specials are well worth the drive here! The restaurant is a bit tricky to spot, so be extra vigilant when looking while driving. Their spinach artichoke dip was pretty good, but the fried zucchini was AMAZING. Pretty cool spot.
Very rude, they wouldn’t seat the 7 of us because the other 2 of our party hadn’t arrived yet. The place was empty! We asked twice to please be seated and was told NO! We left and went to GALLOWAY. Very disappointed in the Rock, so sad!
My family went there last night to eat supper. We were turned away at the door because “the kitchen couldn’t keep up”!!! You’ll never see me again. That was totally unacceptable as others were being seated as we left!!!!

Found this place for lunch. Great outdoor seating area. Lodge like indoor seating with tvs and ample seating. Causal. Family friendly. Right by trails and paths to walk or hike. Great beer selection. A few wines to choose from. A little eclectic menu with cauliflower pizza crust and fried cauliflower with sweet chili tai sauce but everything tasted great. Food was served quickly and got. Reasonable prices. Friendly, attentive servers. Would go back for sure!
1st time and last time ever coming back will never come back ordered a medium well steak had to send it back was pink inside had to ask the owner about when I would get it back still waited 9 minutes to get it back ordered a drink had to have the owner get it waited 10 minutes for it wasn't very busy bartender was too busy talking or whatever asked the owner about taking somekind of discount for the hassle and she made excuse after excuse very disappointed and won't ever recommend anyone ever to eat here very bad customer service
Atmosphere is great. Staff was great and very friendly. Food was perfect. I was ready to go back the next day! One of my top places to go in Springfield. Very fair on their prices as well! A lot of different options on their menu. I have never had any of their food disappoint me. I highly recommend The Rock
Super establishment! Great food, nice selection of beer. One of the very few places I've found to serve quinoa as a side. And the grilled corn... OMG. Uniique entrees, friendly and expert staff. Will definitely return next time I pass through Springfield!
