1st time at the Hill & not impressed. They need to update info on website. Their menu is deceptive. Service & ambience were good. Place was clean & well staffed. The fried ravioli was tuff to cut, hard to eat & cold. Have had better quality & more tasteful food at Golden Corral. Meat sauce was grease & meat difficult to find in the entries. The butternut squash casserole was great, as was the vodka sauce. I don't normally leave negative reviews neither am I usually completely disappointed in the food's taste & quality. They charge $3.99 for ice tea & bottled water ridiculousness! Ranking food quality & taste with elementary school cafeteria lunch lady food. Sad, disappointing and definitely not worth $15 per person.
Never been to an Italian Style Buffet before, but it was great. They have a good variety of food. And it tastes great. My crape was not right at all though. Taste, texture, really oily, and was not cooked right. Hopefully an off night because we plan to go back to enjoy the rest of the great food.
Nice place to eat. Several good items on buffet. I liked the fried fish pieces. Could have little bigger salad bar. Have some tasty pasta dishes. Its cool having pasta buffet so you can get a variety. I've been here a few times, will go again.
We have eaten here before. It has Always been a great experience in the past. Not today. We arrived a little more than a half hour Before the posted lunch hour ended. The door was unlocked and there was no notice what-so-ever that the POSTED hours had changed. We waited for ten minutes, being Ignored by staff until finally a hostess approached us and told us that the restaurant was closed until 4:30. She was Dismissive. She was Rude. And she acted like it was a huge inconvenience for her to have to even talk to us. This was disappointing since we were there for a Birthday celebration, but we went elsewhere. So, when we got home I called and asked to speak to the manager just to clear up the issue. She did NOTHING but make excuses for the hostess... she she was shy, she was usually so good with people but sometimes was in a mood, there were issues in the kitchen... even After I explained she acted in a Very Rude manner, told us Nothing but to get out. Well fine. We will NOT be going back. Our friends and family will NOT be going back. And I recommend that anyone that doesn't want to be treated like an inconvenience when the hostess is in a 'mood' also skip this place and look elsewhere for a decent meal.
Great buffet selection of soups, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. Friendly and efficient staff. Good spacing between tables and booths. I'll definitely return for more!
Not a very wide selection, and almost no meat in the lasagna. The seafood bisque had no seafood flavor let alone actually having any seafood. Its a unique twist on the buffet, just wish there was more flavor. Absolutely LOVED the crepes. Dessert was way above the rest.
The food was 3rd rate at best.Absolutely the worst food the wife and I have ever had ..the only redeeming qualities of the place was our waitress. She worked her but off.Which I'm sure is a really hard job, considering the things the people around us were saying about the foodSeveral things looked good, but we're barley Luke warm. I'm sure if the health department came in they would not be happy.All I can say is save your money and your taste buds..Your better off getting Italian food, from a fast food place like fazoli's.
Food was constantly fresh. I went with one of my buddies and there was great customer service. They made sure we constantly had water if needed and always asked if we needed anything. The manager I believe asked us specifically if there was anything we wanted to be made fresh. When asked if there was anymore pepperoni pizza left, he replied with “ Ill go make some fresh for you guys.” He ended up bringing us a whole half pizza for us. 10/10 definitely would recommend and it is a very family friendly environment.
We will definitely go back. As with all Buffets, timing can be crucial. We showed up early. Everything was hot and tasted good, what I would expect from an Italian Buffet. I would like to see a little more creamy taste in the white sauces and garlic as well. If you love to douse your food with salt, you may think the food is bland because it seems like they don't overdo it like most restaurants do, which is excellent for those who watch their sodium; plus you get to actually taste the other ingredients.
Would have taken a photo but was too busy stuffing my face! Everything was absolutely delicious, from the appetizer section all the way to dessert, everything was fantastic! Especially loved the parmesan cauliflower! Affordable and delicious. We will definitely be back!
