Fantastic pizza, but horrendous customer service. I ordered online today and their website stated my order would be ready at 6:44 pm for curbside delivery. I drove from Ozark to pick up the pizza. I waited in the parking lot until 7:00, and finally had to go into the restaurant to inquire about my order. I was informed by staff that my order was not ready yet because there was trouble with their online ordering software. The gentleman said that what I ordered takes too long to bake, and they didn't have any of what I ordered available. The staff made no attempt to remedy their screw up. The lady in line before me had her online order messed up as well. I have always been fond of The Big Slice in previous visits, but can no longer reward them for incompetence and poor customer service.
This was the absolute worst pizza we’ve ever eaten! Seriously don’t know where all those “good reviews” came from. Both mine and my husbands pizza had no sauce. Toppings were at a bare minimum. I have a gluten allergy and have to get gluten free crust wherever I eat out. Never EVER have I had to be charged $2 extra for a gluten free crust if I said it was because of an allergy. Now, if I had selected “it’s because of a preference” then no $2 extra. My husband didn’t even eat all his pizza it was so bad!! Not only was the pizza bad and over priced but we had to wait 30 extra minutes for them to give us our already preorder, paid for pizza!! Dominos has way better pizza or from your grocery freezer!! If you like pizza that taste like cardboard, then this is the place for you!!
I bought a 21" mozzarella, ricotta, and pepperoni pizza, along with some sides. I ordered online and wasn't a bad wait for the pizza. Prices were decent. I have to say, I love pizza, but I don't think I've had a pizza that good. I've shopped around for good pizza, found some great places, and some amazing places, but The Big Slice takes the cake for legitimately the best pizza I've ever had. I've never had a proper New York pizza, and to be fair, that may be better, I have no way of knowing. But as it stands, The big slice is the best I've ever had.
The name is literal. Grabbed the x-large pizza on a pass thru as something simple to eat in the car… boy was that a mistake. It is delicious food though. Excited for next time when I’m able to two-hand the pizza slice!
We’ve been going to the Sunshine location on Sundays the past month or so while our daughter is at basketball practice. We have all of Springfield to choose from, and we keep finding ourselves back at The Big Slice for a Blue Moon and something amazing from their menu. The service has been comparable to feeling as if we’ve been loyal customers and friends for years. Thank you very much! Highly recommended!

Everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious! The ranch was the best I've ever had, the toasted ravioli was hot and crispy, the calzone was just so hot and tasty, the wings were awesome, the pizza is awesome. We will be ordering from yall from here on out! Thank-you for a great experience!
My new favorite place! We got a pizza, Calzone, garlic knots, and cookies. All incredible!! I honestly haven't had pizza or calzones that good anywhere else around here. The cook even asked if we wanted the slices cut smaller for our kids, which I thought was super nice and another guy asked if we wanted our cookies warmed up! Seriously amazing! Definitely going back.
Our first visit and it was a tasty one! Enjoyed the monster one, their large with everything! Next time I will exclude the pineapple and it will he perfect.So yes, if you haven't tried THE BIG SLICE, you should! 4 1/2 ⭐
We ordered two separate things. He got the sicilan with ham, ricotta and mushrooms. I got a regular slice of just cheese. His was undercooked, so that left him pretty dissatisfied. The mozzarella sticks were yummy. I guess they don't come with the marinara unless you ask for it. Then you get this tiny container. The BRIGHT spot of this eatery, is the salt water aquarium. They have clown fish, and an assortment of coral. So super cool. We are going to go back. We understand the short staffing and they were very nice. They also serve beer, many types. Did not use their bathrooms.
