Amazing Authentic Mexican food...I will definitely be going back. I got the Brisket Quesadilla and it was so very good. The brisket was so flavorful and the sauces are a true spicy delight!
Tried three different tacos, all really tasty but there was a lot of grease in the bottom of the container, so the bottom of the tacos were super oily and I felt pretty uncomfortable trying to eat the tacos. But overall real authentic tasting Mexican food. Would recommend anyone to go and try it.
FABULOUS! This was our first time visiting. The margaritas were amazing. The food was so delicious, the portions were so big , we have enough for another meal. We will definitely eat here again soon!!

OMG! Finally some real Mexican food in Springfield. Run, do not walk to Tacos El Gordo 2 and start crushing tacos. No packaged shells filled with mystery meat in sight. Instead, homemade tortillas filled with real taco fillings.
An amazing small taco place that serves amazing things beyond tacos. I highly recommend the birria and barbacoa tacos with grilled onions and no cilantro. Their tamales are amazing as well. They aim to please and they have a frequent visitors punch card. ❤️❤️❤️They receive a 9.3 out of 10 on my taco scale.
I really enjoy their tacos and so I love Mondays and Thursdays when they are discounted. They have an enormous number of different meats to choose from, (I believe they had 20 when we were last in) including some meats that are just daily specials. The staff is friendly and the place is small but somewhat charming. Oh and their guacamole is my favorite over anywhere else.
They are authentic. They are fast. They are amazing people with a heart for our community! I don't exaggerate when I say they are the only authentic place I've seen or had in decades here. Reasonable prices too and MASSIVE amounts of food with meals!
