Great specials, selection, and music. The prices were similar to most college bars...Cheap! They had an old fridge behind the bar that had a neon light inside of it, which looked really cool when the bartenders opened it to get drinks. They also had the "mystery beer" special for $2. The "mystery beer" ended up being the grapefruit seltzer that my friend wanted. There was free pinball in the back and anime on the TV/projector. This place is an affordable good time.
Great place for meeting friends. Has nostalgia of what the entire square was like 30 years ago, and has Asteroids.
Lots of seating, a stocked bar, knowledgeable staff, and specials every day. The perfect place to start a night out in town.
Great pinball bar! They had open play while I was there. Good selection of craft draft beers with local focus. Great bar tender. Just a great experience.

Great venue in downtown, I had a melon cocktail and it slapped quite intense. If they could work on anything, it's the restroom. It gets real dirty sometimes
I thoroughly enjoy drinking here and they always have good music! Love that they are open all week. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but here’s my hesitation: I used to seriously love it when Carson was behind the bar, he was great and so hospitable! Fast and friendly service! The bar seriously lacks without him there, and it will never be as fun of an experience again :/ They also used to have a door guy posted by the patio to check IDs, which is totally cool, I’m 27 so no problem for me. But lately they’ve had a little blond kid sitting inside the door who is supposed to check IDs. He’s usually super friendly, but several times I’ve come in on the weekends prepared to show ID and he’s just been sitting there chatting while I’m trying to gain entry. If I walk by him he chases me halfway through the bar and scolds me for not showing ID upon entry, when I tried to!!! Interesting considering I’ve seen multiple students from MSU who are 19 *at best* there on thursdays. I’ll continue to enjoy the $3 shots but sure wish they’d figure out which staff are helping and hurting them!!!
