I probably won’t be back. The selections weren’t amazing and we tipped at the beginning when we checked out. I was generous but didn’t realize that we would not be getting any service or I wouldn’t have tipped as much. It took me three trips to get my sushi roll, a salad, the tamari, and then realized I needed chopsticks. A tray would have helped, but someone bringing it all out to me would have been a million times better considering there were only 5 people total in the restaurant when we got there. The sushi was just ok. They didn’t have avocado when we went. Not sure if that is normal.
It wasn’t a bad place to eat, but I don’t think I will go out of my way to eat there again. Very average food and service. This is a good place to go if you’re not the biggest fan of raw fish. The rolls are stuffed to the brim with crab meat and then has the tiniest bit of actual fish. Also, don’t pay money for the cucumber salad. It is just cut up cucumber thrown in a bowl with no flavor added.
This place deserves more attention! I went here with my boyfriend and we got the sweetheart sushi burrito and ika salad (picture included). As well as the strawberry Nutella desert. It was all delicious and the customer service was top notch ? it is also nice that this place is open earlier in the day than most other sushi places in Springfield
Staff was very friendly and super helpful for our first time in. The sushi was made quickly and it is so good. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. However, I came in just before 7 and there were only 5 other people there. But everything seemed to run smoothly and everyone was very kind. The tempura honestly might be the best in town, and I've gotten some real expensive tempura in this town. I did not expect that from a fast food type sushi place, but I stand by it. A must try, I will definitely be back. I appreciate the big menu on the screens and the printed menus by the register. Made it easy to browse everything. I would post a picture of the menu, but lots of people already have. The decor was really nice and I love the edited picture of the big fork
When I first walked in I was skeptical. Looks like the panda express of sushi but let me tell you. This place was delicious. The carnival(second picture from last) was my favorite!! We got way more food for way cheaper than a regular sushi restaurant!
Let me preface this with I prefer to go to restaurants during hours when the managers are there. You'll always get better and faster service. We went at about 1pm and the manager was obviously helping out. With kids meals at $4-4.50, the value is great. The kids meals are large. My kids definitely could have shared. We ended up with a lot of fries that didn't get eaten. Drinks aren't included, but my kids drink water when we go out anyway. The sushi rolls were large. I also think they are a good value at only $6-7 each for 10 pieces. They are a bit different so make sure you look at the ingredients when ordering. You may be surprised if you order something similar to what you would order somewhere else. If you like spicy, then make sure you specify to actually make it spicy. The place was clean. I would definitely go back.
I was quite impressed! Very clean. Staff was polite and most of all, food was really good. Good portions for the price. Menu was a little busy, took me a bit to figure it out. Wife loved the salad. She says to much dressing.
I almost tried this place three separate times but it never worked out. I was finally able to go today. The sushi was so soggy. I threw away part of my 2 rolls away bc I just couldn't eat it anymore. One roll was put together sloppy and the other looked pretty good.It was like gas station sushi if there was such thing.Staff was nice.I probably won't come back.
Made my kid smile. Friendly staff, will definitely go back. 4 stars because the boyfriend wasn't impressed. I liked my food too, who knew to put poprocks on sushi roll!?
Very, very good food! We'll be coming back to try other rolls. 4 stars because of prices. If you like sushi, come try Sushi Fork!
