As someone who enjoys barbeque, I was a little disappointed overall in the food. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly, but the food leaves a lot more to be desired. I ended up getting the Burnt Ends plate with potato salad and fries. While the Burnt Ends did come out fresh, they came out relying heavily on the sauce for taste. This may be fine for certain individuals, but left me feeling disappointed that more thought wasn't put into the meat. The fries were not cooked long enough. Even the potato salad missed out on basic seasonings. I would come back for the atmosphere, but I wouldn't hold high expectations for the food. The portion to price gap is off. Except to be leaving here feeling a little hungry.
If you wanna find some excellent barbecue outside of Texas this is the place to head. The brisket is super tender and breaks apart the burnt ends are fantastic. The macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad are all fantastic and you really can’t go wrong with anything here!
I live in a rural area. Anytime My husband and I go to a bigger city I look up places to pick up brisket. I’ve tried several and have been disappointed by many. But this place? DIVINE!!!!! Wonderful. Incredible. I can’t praise this place enough.I usually never bother with reviews but I couldn’t stop myself from telling anyone and everyone how good their brisket is.?
Oh my goodness, best burnt ends in Springfield! Wow, I loved the meal with a side of okra, and appetizer of artichokes. The owners were there and so friendly. Great staff and clearly an amazing head chef.I can't recommend them enough to check out. Indoor and outdoor dining. Creative and delicious sauces and drink options. Get you some! ?
Pulled pork served dry and scraps crumbles. No flavor. Smoked Turkey had a strange tasting rub? And leaves a weird film like feeling in your mouth. Okra was meh and grilled broccoli was inedible due to excessive salt spice seasoning. Plus their automated pay system has a beginning tip of 18%. Anything lower is custom. Why would I tip that much when there wasn’t any personal service. They even ask you to bus your own table. If this restaurant expects tips then every self serve counter restaurant should get tips. I tip for good service, not to make up difference for living wage. Plus it seems like they are more expensive. Would gladly pay more for good food and personal service. Won’t be returning as there are better places. I usually don’t give restaurants a second chance because there are so many places to choose from.
If you are looking for great bbq-this is your place! If you are looking for delicious sides-this is your place! If you are looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere with great service-yup-this is your place! Sugarfire Smokehouse was highly recommended to us so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I am including some pictures to give you ideas of what to expect. It’s a great place for bbq and they even have a flying pig! You can order a family deal or individual plates. The Mac and cheese and baked beans are amazing! Actually, it all is. You did good Sugarhouse! Five stars!
Surprise surprise great atmosphere great food their fountain drinks Frost brand wow some of the best tasting root beer I've ever had I would come back just for that. But the food was good at the service was great it went really fast even though there was a line. There's even outside seating and it wasn't crowded and we came in just about lunch time.
Just found out about this place, ordered to go, and it was amazing. Brisket was delicious and the sauce choices were all really good. Super friendly staff. Will definitely be adding this to our lunch rotation list.
some of the best barbecue you're going to find in the Springfield area.
First time here, I will be back! The brisket was perfect, great selection of sides. The crew was helpful and everything was top notch. Get the cornbread! Great selection, friendly staff and very clean.
