What an absolute joke! The so calledmanager was so rude we did not even order. Here is a picture of us driving by there last night when all we wanted was two shakes. Was told we are so busy and lots of excuses! Check out the parking lot. Yeah right. She lied here is a picture of parking lot. I would never go here what a joke. She needs to be fired
Super tasty. Always great prices and yummy food. Shakes are so good lots of variety. Nutella is the best shake for meee. Fries this time were a bit crispy, most of us didn’t care, but the one that did, they remade a whole basket for them. Great service. Not too small but not too big portions. Always come here once when around these parts, this location has also always been great. Sad that they got rid of parm garlic seasoning for the fries though.
I love Steak and Shake, some of the best food BUT this one is absolutely awful. My family sat for 20 minutes without being spoken to or given drinks while a waitress mopped the floor and ignored us. We left without getting food.
We visited twice in one week, not very clean. we had the same waitress both times. She was more interested in socializing with coworkers than customers. Forgetting my fries & then serving me still frozen ones, never came back to check on us, had to hunt her down to get the bill. 2nd trip, we sat there for 20 minutes and didn't even have anyone come over to take our drink order, there we only 2 other couples in the restaurant, we saw her passing by Us several times and decided to leave when someone who was on drugs came in and started arguing with the manager and the police were called. I would avoid this particular steak and shake at all costs!! But there are several others in the Springfield Missouri area that are wonderful and you cannot beat their prices ?
We travel a lot and Steak 'n Shake is one of our favorite places for lunch, so we've eaten in a lot of SnS's in several states. This experience (lunch on Thursday) at this location was one of the best ever. Food was good, service was great, and everything flowed smoothly and efficiently. Kudos to the entire staff, especially the manager--this type of efficiency flows from management down.
Man, super disappointed with Steak 'n Shake =\. They've moved out of Oklahoma so it was a treat to hit this one up on a road trip, we thought. Suuuuper bummed the mac n cheese is gone from the menu, but that's a corporate thing (according to a Google search), not the owner.We sat for thirty minutes, in the drive thru waiting on a double, two singles and a dog with four fries. We had no crazy adds or even don't-adds in the order.The burgers were cooked but looked like they'd been sat on. The fries were cooked ok but kinda cold. Each fry container was only half full as well? The hotdog was chewy, certainly tougher than expected.Guess we had rose colored glasses on.
The only thing that was good about my experience was the waitress that took my to go order. No one attended to me until I was sitting there awkwardly by myself for an extended period of time. I get it I probably don't look like I would leave a tip, but sheesh. I tipped the girl $20 on a $15 bill because she was a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else there.
The food is great but they were short staffed and my Shake wasn't made til we checked out...I got it to go. They were also slammed busy... kudos to the staff who were there and busting their butts!
They will not seat you. They won't even look at you. People pile up at the door, and slowly filter back out after they realize they must be invisible. This was around 6:35-6:40 on Saturday, March 12th, so I'm sure the managers will have no problem reviewing the video and seeing who needs a little retraining. There were 6 tables sat, and 5 parties standing at the sign.
We ate at this location yesterday and when we arrived less then half the tables were in us and there was 3 groups of people totaling 10 people waiting to be seated. Literally half the place was empty and it took 20 minutes to get seated. There was 2 of us and they managed to screw up my order. They too it right back and corrected my burger then gave me half as many fries. Save a hassle and go to another location
