Took over 25mins in the fast drive-thru lane to get 2 milkshakes. Instead of pulling drink orders and similar quick purchases forward, we were stuck waiting for people who had 3-4, and more, bag orders.
Everytime I go here, they mess up something from the order. Forget the lemon in the lemonberry slush, give me a corn dog kids meal instead of chicken fingers. Cheese tots with no cheese. Service is always slow. Waited 13 minutes last time before someone came to the speaker and asked me to hold a few minutes. Waited another 5. Would have left but we only went because my kid begged to go in the first place. I will never go back to the glenstone and division location.
The speakers are already hard to hear. But when the associate is taking the order and the rest of the staff is singing full on in the background, it is impossible to hear. This was made clear when the order came out all wrong. Burger instead of chicken. Mozzarella sticks instead of tots. Extra water they were going to charge us for. Asked for cheese, got none. Just horrible. The server was very nice though and she was patient and accommodating.
The servers and the food are wonderful every time I come here. The issue that I’ve seen quite a few times in the manager I assume because I don’t know who he is. He treats his employees like trash. I was talking to my server and he came out and yelled at her. There’s like me and another person here and the server was out her for like maybe two minutes. When I worked in fast food having a manger breath down my back like that is quite unfortunate and makes a already difficult job just that much more worse. Knowing you have to come into work and deal with a power hungry manger couldn’t be me. I’ve seen it a few times and decided to write about it.
I go to this sonic often, because they are the only sonic that seems to know how to properly cook a grilled cheese... Then this happens, I ordered a few grilled cheeses and then they arrived the cheese was not melted at all and still in it's slice form, I could see the two slices of cheese (usually it's melted and gooey) so I asked if they could remake them. The guy was super nice and said sure no problem we will make sure it's melted, and of course they are not toasted this was the only one that was half toasted. It's literally bread with melted cheese on it. Is definitely an odd texture in the mouth never have I eaten a "grilled" cheese that wasn't grilled. It was super soft and gross. Not to mention the girl who brought us the remade sandwiches had a horrible attitude and I ended up just leaving and not eating.
Food was good A bit pricey like all Sonic. Waitress was efficient and mostly competent. Girl with the pink hair what takes your order was extremely beautiful made the entire stop worthwhile
Came in almost half an hour before the place closed and it was well after when I finally got my food. Asked for some BBQ sauce for my chicken strips that the carhop was going to have to go back inside and get after I mentioned it when I ordered. She was very rude and smarted off about making fresh food.1) I like fresh food but that is something that you might want to mention when someone makes an order. Let them know that it is the end of the night and everything is fresh to order. That leaves it up to them at that point to stay or go.2) Don't be rude about it. That is the part that really upset me. Was the bad attitude from the carhop.
Mostly just get drinks during happy hour. The food is good every now and then. Just a bit pricey for a cheapskate like me. Workers seemed focused on their jobs and such. Good kids.
We sat for a good 10-15min after pushing the red button. Several cars pulled in after us and orders were immediately taken. We tried pushing multiple times and each time it would say activated. Ended up leaving because there was still no answer.
WORST SONIC by far! This is not our first terrible experience here, but we assumed they were short staffed and gave them the benefit of the doubt. It took 10 minutes for someone to help us after pushing the button, and once we were helped, the lady taking our order was not friendly at all and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her by being there. We ordered 2 drinks a a few snack items. It took a long time to get our food as well as everyone who showed up after us got there’s first. We will not be back and based on other reviews, this seems to be the overall experience. Very disappointing.
