First time trying Thai food. The partially-stained sheet of paper in a plastic sheet protector that was their menu didn’t give the best first impression, but the Pad Thai was actually quite delicious and reasonably priced. I would consider eating here again.
We're visiting family in Springfield, MO and found Rama Thai Cafe on Google. They were really well reviewed and we soon found that 4.6 rating was richly deserved. We started with the Rama Sampler and everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely fresh. The sauces with the sampler were excellent and we were informed that they make the Thai peanut sauce from scratch daily, the exceptional quality reflected that. Our entrees were Pad See Ew with Chicken, Amazing Rama with beef, and Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and shrimp. I was in a party of 3 and we shared our dishes with each other so everyone got a taste of everything. Every dish was perfect, this was easily some of the best Thai I've ever eaten... period! The staff were very friendly and fostered a very welcoming dining experience. I'd give more stars if I could, Rama Thai Cafe is that good ?
Our family enjoyed our trip to Springfield so much and this quaint little restaurant was one of the number one reasons why. We eat pho in every city we go to and this was hands down one of the best. We had a busy schedule that week and didn't have much time to eat, so the staff was so accommodating to get our food out super quick and with smiles. So kind and you can just feel the good vibes here. Support local! Thank you guys so much!
This is my favorite Thai place in Springfield! They have lots of variety and I'm a huge fan of their fried rice. It's inside one of the historic homes on walnut street, which makes the atmosphere super cute, unique, and comforting. Pictured is the iced coffee that I got last time. The only complaint is that the iced coffee was a bit too sweet for my liking (personal preference), but it was still good!
Amazing food!!! It's in an old historic home with lots of character. It can get packed with a long wait, which is good sign, just go 7:30/8 for dinner and you'll be greeted seated and eating with in 15 minutes!! We were so impressed at how fast our food came out! Everything tasted super fresh, best Thai food we've ever had! We ordered drunken noodle, Roma Thai, the peanut sauce was wonderful too!
Good Thai food- fair price- in old house in Historic District ordered very spicy but it was just a little spicy- liked food would go again!!! Street parkingFriendly staff
Very Americanized Thai food, not a lot of flavor. It tasted like watery noodles, the noodle dish I ordered. Very little sauce and uninteresting in pretty much every way. In general from the property to the meal it seemed very much just throw together. I like family owned small businesses so that’s a plus for them. It also is a little overprice and maybe Suitable for blue collar business people, that want a quick fix. And wouldn’t be looking for quality. On a quick lunch break.
Wonderful as always. Drunken noodles with crispy tofu. Spring rolls & crab Rangoon.
Absolutely wonderful!! My son and I ate here for lunch. He ordered the 3 Taste Chicken lunch special , I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken with no tomatoes, and we shared some egg rolls. The staff was VERY friendly and welcoming as soon as we opened the door. Not to mention it it set up in inside the cutest historic home! Very clean restaurant as well. Both of our dishes were FULL of flavor, and were very fresh. WE LOVED it and will definitely be back!!
This place is one of the best restaurants in our city. The drunken noodles are out of this world. I intend to try the pho on my next visit. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was unique and left me wanting to come back soon.
