I absolutely love this place. This place is hands down the best authentic fastfood Mexican restaurant in the entire area. It reminds me of the Taco truck's back home in Colorado and Wyoming. And their California Burrito and salsa are straight ???? Oh and by the way the service and people there are awesome even though they are Chargers fans. GO RAIDERS!!
My family moved from San Diego CA to Springfield MO. During a recent visit to Springfield, my niece took me to The Purple Burrito for some San Diego style Mexican food. The food was delicious. I tried some rolled tacos and the special which was a Purple Burrito. Both were excellent and definitely had that taste that usually only comes from San Diego. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I'll definitely visit the Purple Burrito again on my next visit.
The BEST real Mexican cooking around. Fish tacos are outstanding. Shredded beef tacos are fried perfectly, tender beef and topped with deliscious fresh salsa, lettuce and cheese. Consistently a go to place.
Hands down, they serve the best fish tacos in town and maybe the state! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. Fantastic customer service and their prices are great!
This is the place to go for great, authentic tacos!! Not typically a fan of fish tacos, however, these are worth the trip by themselves!! Fantastic fish tacos, and the lengua tacos were spectacular!! Definitely stop in if you're ever in the area and want tacos!!

EXCELLENT FOOD! We used to live in Springfield and moved to St. Louis. We have missed our purple burrito, we just came down to visit and grabbed some purple burrito and it DID NOT disappoint. I sounded like a starving pig at the soup kitchen, the food was fresh, hot and LOADED. You definitely get your moneys worth. I’m 6’5 300 pounds and one burrito filled me up!
I've been coming here for years but the last few times were even better. They've upped their game. I don't know how they did it but my favorites are more incredibly delicious than they were before. Excellent!!!
The best fish taco’s I have had anywhere! I highly recommend this place. Very clean and friendly. Nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal. I will be coming here more often.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Amazing customer service, amazing food, amazing prices. The shredded beef tacos crunchy make my day at least twice a week! Everyone is always smiling and whipping up bomb food in that kitchen. Its clean and relatively quick almost all the time. What more could you even ask for in a place? One of my favorite Mexican places in Springfield.
