This place is amazing. 10/10 COMPLETELY RECOMMEND!!!Our first time here and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Family friendly food and TOTALLY AFFORDABLE!!! Kim was so helpful and kind and showed us what food was a must try. Great portions, great staff, great taste, and great price! Wanted to get a photo of the food before I ate, but it smelled so good I forgot. My highest compliments, I ate as much as I could ?
Love, love, love this place. The food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and to die for. Their staff is always friendly and prompt. I really enjoy their Burnt ends and fried okra. It's my favorite and 99% of the time that's what I order. If you haven been yet do yourself a favor and head out to either location and get your bar-b-q on.
They definitely need to save up for a renovation!However, as good as their food/service was, it shouldn't take them long to save up the needed funds. Their sides are a generous 8oz and their meat had great smoky flavor and was seasoned well. The Cuban looked absolutely delicious and I may want to try it next time I come.*Edit: from 4 to 5 stars since there's only so much they can do leasing the building.

I absolutely LOVE eating at both locations. Extremely friendly staff. They made my thanksgiving fest and it was delicious. I love the chicken sandwich’s. The chicken noodle soup is so tasty, so much so that I can’t eat it anyplace else now. My boyfriend and I try to visit for dinner once a week. He loves the French dip sandwiches. We both also really enjoy the BBQ as well. I wish I had the stomach to eat one of each from the menu every time we visit.
I will be visiting again. Normally reviews do not start this way. It was so good that I felt I should start with that. I had the smash burger meal and added a side of pit beans. Meal was a good size. Left full. Burger was flavorful and juicy. Fries equally flavorful and crisp. Pit beans while they had a great flavor were just a bit too sweet for my liking but that bbq flavor is on point. Can't wait to try some of the other meals. Lastly the staff is awesome. Not much else to say here.
Missouri Mike’s is a legit barbecue establishment from a preparation standpoint. They don’t just have a fake smoker serving out of a bag warmed up in the back. First, the fries and smoked corn were very good, the okra was crispy, but not the best you’ll find. The meats were very good, the burnt ends by far were the best of what we tried. The brisket was good. The tri tip had good flavor, but was too fatty to be served the way it was presented. My biggest concern is they don’t have brewed iced tea of any variety at this location. It’s hard to trust any barbecue that doesn’t believe in fresh brewed iced tea. Lastly, they don’t have root beer which I also found strange for a barbecue restaurant.Overall, definitely worth a stop and 5 stars is easily attainable with some minor tweaks.
We visited the new Battlefield Road restaurant yesterday for our anniversary. The hostess was very nice and checked on us multiple times. The waitress was nice and still learning menu which is understandable since it was just day two. The Black and Bleu salad was great but the bleu cheese dressing was so salty it was hard to eat. The meat was very good on the salad. We both got sirloins, one medium and one medium well, they both seemed to be cooked one level more done than ordered. Meat was not tender which I hate to say we were disappointed. The mashed potatoes which we both got were cold, it took three times saying something before we got hot ones then we were pretty much done with our meal. The hush puppies were good and the Brussel sprouts were good too. We did see Mike the owner and he went past our table multiple times and not even a welcome to the place or how is the meal. That was a bit disappointing. Over all is just meh. We will try again once they get better with grilling and cooking skills.
I have been hearing about how good Missouri Mike’s is for a while now. So FINALLY I stopped by and let me tell you something…..FANTASTIC!! Tasty burgers, delicious pulled pork, and the Reuben, THE REUBEN!! Cancel your plans folks, and go to Missouri Mike’s ASAP!
Had lunch here today. Got the 3 meat combo with ribs, brisket, and chicken. My sides were smoked corn and pit beans. Even though they were very busy the staff was pleasant and attentive.The brisket was good, nice smoke ring and very moist. The chicken was o k although I thought it was a bit small ( more the size of a pigeon).The problem I have is the ribs. They were cold with no smoke flavor at all and very under cooked. I don’t know if because they were busy maybe the pulled them too soon or what but I will keep looking for the best BBQ in Springfield
