I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS MEXICAN VILLA RESTAURAUNT. This visit was the worst visit i have had at any restaurant ever. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and was seated at a booth, upon ordering drinks i asked for a high chair for my 5 yo autistic son. 10 minutes later she arrived with our drinks. Again i asked for a high chair and we ordered our food. My order was 1 cheese enchilada and 1 beef, but wanted 2 cheese npt the beef. My fiance ordered the 2 beef and one cheese but asked for 2 cheese and one beef. 30 minutes later our food showed up,no high chair.we started eating our food and 15 minutes later( after we had realized our food was wrong, and she took so long to return to inform us we couldnt have high chair at a booth. We informed her food was wrrong. She went and got manager and lied to her manager and said i asked for booster seat. I have been with my son everyday of his life. HE WILL NOT SIT IN BOOSTER SEAT,i know my son.She lied again and said i asked for booster seat. We complained about the food and was told since we started eating it and took so long to report the food was wrong that we couldnt get a refund or any compensation. There was 10 minutes left before closing when our server came back for us to report the order was wrong. Over ½ of our food was wrong and feel we should have only been charged ½ of price. Was told we could have our Queso for free for our inconvience. I was already upset the server called me a liar many times. I will not step foot back in this Mexican Villa and i would recommend going to other locations of Mexican Villa. My card was billed full price,no discount. The server is a bold face lieng rude hateful person. If this is the type of employee and management Mexican Villa can hire and the type of customer service they provide They should hire monkeys. Atleast the customer would have something positive and a laugh during their visit.

Ordered a chicken quesadilla that came with guac, salad and sour cream and it was very disappointing. I would expect for quesadillas to be difficult to mess up but this place managed to. There was way too much chicken with very little cheese in comparison and the guac that came with the quesadilla was completely black.

Excellent food and great service. We try to eat here every time we are in Springfield. We've been eating here since then 70s. Always a great experience.

If you want a quick meal and aren't particular about food quality, this place is for you. Went here because it was close to the hotel. I wanted to like it more than I did. Having dined in Mexican restaurants across the US, including in Texas, the food was barely average. I had a Combo Plate, and the best thing on it was the tamale. The refried beans had no texture. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The food did come out very quickly. (Depending on how long it had been prepared, it would explain some of the comments above.) The corn tortilla chips were thicker than I prefer and just a little overcooked. Only the tamale saved the food from being below average. Service was better than average. Wait staff was very attentive. Atmosphere was almost below average. I wasn't expecting to hear 70's pop music. Overall, I expected just a little better for the price range.

Quick service. Very hot plates. You can actually taste the ingredients, not just the hot peppers. Wife loves the ice tea.

We were seated quickly. The environment was very nice and calm. Waitress was very sweet and service came very promptly. Food was served quickly also. My 3 stars was because I did not feel any mexican authenticity in the restaurant at all. My chicken quesadilla tasted like there was tuna mixed in it. The napkin that came wrapped around my silverware looked like it had a blood splatter on it that I had to ask to be replaced. To which I have a photo of saved in my phone. Other than that, my experience was great.

Second time being very disappointed in our order. Spent 30.00 on 2 Burrito Enchilada Style, which were very flat, usually mine makes 2+ meals for me. The chips were so old and hard they weren't edible. It's obvious you have no shame in exchanging sub-par food for high- end prices, and you sure have some nerveGuess it's gonna be back to the original location on National.

We were seated promptly, our server was extremely friendly and professional. We did not wait not want for drinks. This trip to Mexican villa was out best one. I got 3 crunchy tacos with ground beef and husband got enchiladas. I had mild salsa and he received the sweet sauce. He encouraged me to pour that sweet sauce on my taco. It was amazing!! These are full sized tacos, and they were full of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato. The order is 3 for 8.99 We also ordered guacamole for our table, which I added to my taco. It was a phenomenal meal.i was only able to eat 1.5 The restaurant was clean, the wait staff were clean and presentable. It was an over all wonderful experience. We will go back, for sure. Very soon!!

I could always come into Mexican Villa, sit down and order that delicious sweet sauce for the chips. Soooo good. Taco Salad is also amazing although I got a hair in it before but they pretty much immediately got out another one super fast so I think they make you wait purposely to make you think they're actually cooking it and making sure it's cooked good.

This was the worst food I've Ever had at a Mexican villa, this was the one on east Sunshine, I never go to this one but they weren't busy like the one on campbell. I had the enchiladas, they are usually great, but I will never go to this one again. So much difference in the two locations.
