The wait staff was quick to visit our table and take our drink order. Food was quickly brought to the table. The order was correct and the food was tasty.
This used to be my favorite Mexican restraunt but tonight it was terrible. Waited 45 minutes for drinks, chips and salsa. Salsa has changed, tasted like straight tomato sauce. The waiter had a nasty blackened bandaid on his finger. The tables around us were waited on promptly so this wasn't a shorthanded issue.
I am torn, and this is one where I really wish they had half stars.The good:1.The staff was awesome, zero complaints there.2.The fresh made guacamole was the best we ever had at a restaurant, ever! I would go back just for chips and guac.The not so good:We did not enjoy the rest of the food. It all seemed to taste pretty bland. The only thing that helped the meat, beans and rice was the cheese and cheese sauce. Unfortunately, the wife can't do cheese, so there was no "saving" there. For the price, which is considerably higher than the menu pictures posted here, I really hoped for top notch.
Went to get lunch for mother's day, and they made up my mind to never return. It's always been mediocre, but has just gotten worse. Ordered Pollo Special, and they couldn't even get something that simple right. They didn't have queso on it, the chicken was dry, and the chorizo was bland. Such a disappointment.
Showed up with 10 and was sat next to another big table. Not sure if our server was just overwhelmed but it was probably the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant in Springfield. We sat there for at least 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. The food actually came out fast and was decent but we were charged for stuff that we shouldn't have been charged for, they missed and order on the ticket and I had to track down the server so we could get it because after he dropped off the food we never saw him again. I couldn't tell who the manager was, it was an awful experience but the food was decent.
OK. My friend liked his seafood enchilada more than I liked my nacho dish. Not cheap, but not horrible.
Best guacamole ever had! This is such a great place. My mom and I just stumbled upon it to have drinks and an appetizer and we will definitely be back! They made the guacamole right in front of us which was super fun! And they were so friendly. Really great place!
Went out for some Mexican food with our daughter’s in laws and they suggested this place. The table side guacamole was awesome and everyone else had a margarita which even the regular size was large and they said tasted good. I had the chicken and spinach enchiladas and they were delicious
On checkout, charged prices didn’t match menu pricing and i told my server . She checked with manager. I was told to pay the higher charges. The manager was rude, argumentative, and tried to explain the menu prices weren’t accurate and the server should have told me. So beware of this establishment.
The service was good. Clean and very pretty inside.
