Experience was ehh. Seating was quick, though it was a Saturday morning. We didn't get coffee until after our food arrived, being shorted silverware, wrong kind of potatoes received, and food wasn't hot. We had been going to there about once a month for a few years. Prices have increased significantly, but so has everyone else. We didn't speak to wait staff or management.
Coffee, food and service was great. They were super busy yet we didn’t have to wait long as well. The wonderful company made for an over all great Mother’s Day breakfast!!!
Okay, so we have eaten here a couple of times. This last time, I ordered the children's omelette and a bowl of fruit. It was the perfect size meal for me. Everyone at our table, a group of 6 really enjoyed their meal. We will go back. I'm going to order the same thing, it was perfect.
I wouldn't have even given 1 star but it's the only way I could leave this message! We ordered the monster burger with onion rings. The burger was dry like eating cardboard no taste, the onion rings were not cooked all the way. My husband ordered sweet tea the waitress brought him unsweetened and never mentioned they had to make fresh sweet tea until he let her know she gave him unsweetened tea her response: I know I am sorry we had run out of sweet tea so now I am making more! (REALLY! ) she couldn't had said something when she brought the unsweetened tea the first time? And we ordered a 3 sample appetizer and only received 2 they ran out of the fried mushrooms and the waitress response when she sat the plate on the table: We ran out of mushroom so I told the cook to just double the cheese sticks! (REALLY) I was so glad WE HAD A CHOICE IN IT SEEING HOW WE WERE PAYING FOR WHAT WE WANTED! NOT I have never been so pushed into paying as much as we did for something we didn't even eat! I left the burger and onion rings never ate them my son in law had just about the same experience we spent close to $100 on our meals and we left there still hungry because we couldn't eat the food! And went to freaking. Dairy Queen across the street had better service! And better food it's so sad that I felt I needed to tell this to everyone I hope this doesn't happen to you and your family and waste your hard earned money and not leave happy! Everything cost so much more now and we still work hard for our money we should spend it on what makes us happy when we have the little extra! Any business owner should know happy customers are returning customers! I will never step foot back in that establishment as long as it is the Kearney Cafe.
This place was excellent! I used the drive thru service and I got friendly, fast service. Food was really good and HUGE portions at a great price. I will come back the next time I'm in Springfield
The waitress we had was clearly in the top 10 waitresses of all my 50+ years. We have not had that good of service in long time. Now the "wow" part comes in! She is only 17 years old and works only part time!! But she took care of us with service like she had been waiting tables 20 years and still believed in great customer service.
Food was amazing but.. my waitress was definitely a game changer her name was Kimberly please ask for her if you want an amazing respectable waitress. She was so kind and never let us go without anything
Good food. Large portions. Great service! A couple of shrimp were a little under done. They offered to make me more, but I was already too full.
Love this place! It's my families go to place for a great meal, especially breakfast.
Friendly service. Biscuits and Gravy Good. Belgian Waffle needed cooked a little longer, barely warm when brought out (wouldn't melt the butter). The skillet my daughter got was Good.
