Food was good and server was friendly. My suggestion to get higher ratings is to work on overall restaurant cleanliness. One of the tables our group was seated at had so much crud in the groove between the folding flaps of the table, that it could not be fully extended to its upright position.
Our server this morning was high and speeding. We had to ask for multiple things multiple times because we would get one word out and she would actually run away. My order was also wrong but got fixed quickly. We still tipped over 20% because serving is hard and we understand but her table side manner has still left a poor taste in my mouth 8 hours later. Even for ihop it’s embarrassing.
Food was good but the bathroom was awful. Good service was great. They had Tabasco sauce in packages very user friendly.
I had been happy to see an IHOP close by for an early breakfast, when I got there even though the "open 24 hours" sign was lit up they were closed. After checking online they opened at 6am so I waited since I could see workers in there. Another car pulled up and they saw us out there, then ignored us. By 615 they had still not unlocked the doors so I left and got coffee elsewhere on my way to work. If you're not open at 6am you should change your hours, they looked right at us and ignored us for fifteen minutes.
Food was wonderful, and so was the service. I had the chicken fajita omelet and pancakes. Ronnie was our waiter, and he was friendly, quick, and polite. It was a great experience. Also, the tea is good.
Went to IHOP on Kansas Expwy today around 5:30 after our hike. Unfortunately, we won't be back. The food was less than desirable. Soggy waffle, bacon was chewy, spinach in omelet tasted dirty like it hadn't been washed. The chicken tenders we ordered came out burnt, asked for new and came out burnt again. So our waitress took them off our ticket. The only positive note was our waitress. She was great and attentive and it's not her fault the food was so bad.
Don’t bother driving all the way up there if it’s past 10 pm. They will turn you away. Google says they’re open until 12 am every night, but they only do online orders past 10 pm. So they will not seat you. Tonight they turned us away, as well as another party of 2 people, and another 6 people in another party who all arrived at the same time. A lot of missed business for them, because most people who walk in the door would like to sit down…not order online.
love ihop but the Kansas Expressway one has awful staff. We needed somewhere open to eat after a late game and saw on Google maps this one was open until midnight. Showed up to be told they were closed. I told a friend on the way out they should update Google and a very rude employee told me to read their sign. I told her you guys might want to update it on maps and Google and she continued to argue saying it wasn't her problem. She wasn't google...she was ALLIE. Then sat and smoked at the front door. You never argue with a customer. Very unprofessional.?
Went in tonight to place a takeout order. The restaurant was running with 3 staff members and they were all so kind and efficient in getting everyone their food. Unfortunately, i witnessed an unpleasant delivery driver walk out on his pickup orders because of a short wait time. Please be kind to your wait staff and cooks. These three were working as hard, quickly and happily as they could. I appreciate getting fresh, hot, delicious food with excellent service. Thank you!
Food was very gross . We will not be coming back. Instead of offering refund they’re giving meal tickets that are not going to be used lol so we basically got ripped off. They said the chef does good when they absolutely do not . He also had a very snarky attitude over the phone , I’m guessing that’s the manager which is why this place is going down hill smh he claims they were so busy the phones where down. No you had them off the hook LOL probably because of all the unhappy customers . And don’t ever question me anyways when the customer is always right.
