Easily the most overpriced, overhyped donut place on the planet. Even if they were cheap, the donuts didn’t taste good. Very disappointed!
I am so disappointed at this location. The first time we had hurts donut was in Branson it was really great. We're telling everybody at home (Ohio) it was the best donut we had. Then we went to Springfield. So happy to found out they have this location closer to our hotel. So we order 2 dozen to bring back home. Bought it that morning so we can have the fresh donut. So happy to bring it home, even carried it whenever we go stop to eat (drove 8 hrs). Then so happy to finally bring it home for our family, only to find out it was old donut ???. I even told the guy where bringing it home to Ohio so we can prove our family that it was better than KK. Nope! Our proof of donut is not good.
Still no dining in the lobby. Claiming COVID-19 as reasoning. Donuts were good, though. Some of them were VERY sweet, but the donut holes were good.
We had Hurts Donuts last weekend. We drove by a few weeks ago and knew we had to try it. We tried the red velvet cake donut. Sooooooo yummy! And we took home half a dozen plain glazed. You can really judge a donut shop by their plain glazed.. let me tell you... best I've ever had. Even better than a hot fresh Krispy donut. I was definitely impressed and a little surprised. My expectations weren't low by any means and they exceeded them. It's definitely different and I was even impressed by the box they sent our donuts home in. Super original and should be a bucket list. Sorry there's no donuts in my photo. I ate them all ?
I would do 4 1/2 starts really.The location and building is awesome.The donuts are great but they could feel a little oily or heavy. Too dense.Still really good!I enjoyed the variety.Not so much the names.Apparently it’s even confusing for the employees since they got the wrong donut in my box. I noticed when it was too late.Anyways, overall really good!
Yeah, these delicious donuts are worth the trip to the store. I get the old-fashioned donuts (I call them sour cream). The cinnamon rolls are gi-normous and worth the price. Always a good experience.
Donuts are super fresh. Many specialty donuts to choose from and the coffee is made fresh!!! The also have some pretty neat T-Shirts to purchase as well. Gonna buy one....one dayGod Bless
Upscale donuts for sure! Some were too rich, and sweet for my taste. My favorite was the chocolate covered custard filled! Donuts are extremely large, and fresh! Service was good too.
Yummy however first time ever having these so we asked the guy what his favorite was his response “I don’t know Im more of a cookie person” and then we continued to ask questions he seemed really annoyed. However the donuts were great :)!
Good donuts, neat names and varieties. Would have been 5 stars but the coffee was cold and you can't dine-in due to COVID-19.
