What a fun and delicious place.?. I had never been to a place like this. I loved how you could pick whatever you wanted and make endless combinations of food. If you're a vegetarian or gf, this is definitely a great place to eat. My only complaint was at the end of making your bowls to be cooked you pick your sauce and drizzle it all over your food, there was sauce all over the floor from where people had split it. I almost slipped and fell. It was fun watching them cook, they definitely put on a show. If you tip them and ring the gong they will yell out "HUHOT!!" Scared me to death the 1st time I heard it. Lol but when I got up there I tipped them and had my bf ring the gong. We also had the Asian salad, very delicious. The crab Rangoons were also good. We tried out the dessert ones and they were delicious also. You get ice cream and a side of fruit, I chose strawberry ?. You definitely leave this place full. 100% recommend.
Update- I was looking forward eating HuHot last night but I guess they weren't excited to see us. We were seated immediately, they had many open tables and we were told a server would be right with us. We looked at the menu, talked for a bit and after 10 min there were 3 other parties after us that had drinks and or ordered their drinks and were getting food. We had yet to speak to a server. They weren't short handed as there was 3 or 4 servers standing and visiting. I made eye contact with 2 of them, one twice but they just looked away. The only server to be doing much was the server/bartender. She was waiting on tables all over.Wish she had been our server. So after a few more min, another party entered and immediately ordered drinks to the server working the bar. So, we left. The host at the door said she was sorry, but i doubt the servers cared much. The cooks at the grill were friendly and chatting with kids in line. Our server was super friendly.We had the Crab Rangoon apitizer and both the house salad and Asian salad. All were good.The main meal is up to you. With so many ingredients and so many sauces there are an endless combination of possibilities. If you don't like it, it's your own fault. They have cards of recipe suggestions, I like the Pad Thai recipe with a little extra sweet chili and a little extra black Thai peanut sauce. I put that over Pad Thai noodles, chicken and some sprouts and veggies. I always think about trying something different then make the same thing. LolThey keep the food well stocked so you have many choices.The only real negatives -Some people get sloppy with the sauces and they can get pretty mixed.Also, if you go in a bigger group, eventually it gets harder to visit. Some go back for more before others, then they go back for seconds. When they return others are ready to... it takes a bit as you stand and wait for it to be cooked. You may be sitting and eating alone for a bit.It's a good place and worth a visit.
To the owner and hopefully you see this. Came for dinner tonight and long story short here, you had a family that skipped out on their bill. I wanted to let you know that your wait staff did literally chase after them “sure you have cameras to prove that” and I myself chased after them. Then I was told that the waitress would have to pay for the meal since they didn’t. This to me is very unacceptable and you should be ashamed of yourself for having them pay for it when they are the ones that did literally nothing wrong. Being a previous business owner myself, this is NOT how you handle this and you know very well it’s on you to deal with it and move on. I really hope this waitress didn’t have to end up paying for their meal. I’m also not one to be a keyboard worrier and would gladly discuss anything in person with you anytime. Besides the buffet line being low on everything pretty much, your wait staff was amazing and so were the cooks and should be proud of the team you have there. Adam
Daughter loves the place. Kudos to the young lady GM...the two guys cooking were less than motivated, but the GM and another young lady jumped behind the line and got them out of the weeds and did all they could to bring the energy level up. Great job ladies
4/30/22 @ 5:00pm first time at this restaurant. The waitress was very good however the serving area was extremely messy needing a clean up as well as the floor. Made me very uncomfortable eating in such a cross contaminated food serving area. The egg flower soup was spoiled. The spell was like a rotten egg and the taste was unbearable. We raise fresh farm eggs and know the smell of a rotten egg. I usually give all restaurants a second chance but in this case i will not be back. I would have given a one star but the waitress was worth a two star.
Good food as always. One of the cooks was goofing around and overcooked our food once though.(Restaurant responds with how happy they are they exceeded my expectations)WHAT?....LOL...You DID NOT exceed my expectations! I was actually disappointed that you allowed your cooks to act like baboons and spoil the customers food! Did you even read this review???
The wife and I ate there just the other day, the waitress named Lisa was just the nicest lady who struck up a great conversation with my wife and I. She made our overall experience eating there better. If you eat there, hopefully you see Lisa, she'll make your whole day better :)
So good ! You get to pick out of alot of choices what you want cooked. And its all you can eat ! Great flavor and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick !
For our first time going we were very impressed. The only negative thing I can say is the side salad bowl needs to be bigger for the amount of salad that you recieve. Well done everyone on staff. Jonah I believe his name is brought so much fun chemistry to the grill while we waited for our food to cook. Can't wait to come back again. Keep up the good work
Used to be great. This time it was awful. Floor and food line was filthy. Most of the sauces were empty and had food in them. 1 persons food was undercooked, another over cooked. Apps were extremely overcooked, borderline burnt. Service was nonexistent. When the waitress was hunted down, told her about the apps and her exact words were huh. My bad, here's your check. No apology or offer of refund even though they were clearly uneaten. We've enjoyed huhot for years but i don't know that we will be back.
