We had a great experience at this Houlihans! Our server, Paula, was super attentive, friendly, and helpful. And the food was so good?. I had the heartland chicken salad, which was good sized and filling. I love the spicy pecans they put on it, and a great mix of other goodness with plenty of grilled chicken. My husband bought the southwestern chicken wrap which he found very satisfying as well. (He choose chips and salsa as his side). The kids meals were good portion size and came with a scoop of ice cream at the end (our server was great to check in quietly with the mom about their dessert). We will come back to this restaurant again!
Our waiter was a muscular guy who almost looked out of place. But he did an excellent job.I never tipped a guy $20 but he earned it. The food was good as always and the chef came out to great folks as well. That was kind of a good twist.
Read amazing reviews about other Springfield location but this one is closer so decided to check it out, I noticed this location had less positive reviews. My rule of thumb when visiting a new restaurant is ordering a basic burger, no bells and whistles on it to cover the meaty flavor, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes. If they can execute a basic burger well, then next time I’m willing to spend more and try other dishes. Popped in around 130pm, not overly busy, took a few minutes to get acknowledged and seated. Was surprised to not get the limited menu that was on their website. Server came over quickly and got drink order. Ordered shrooms, they were on happy hour, they arrived piping hot and were delicious. Ordered cheeseburger, fries and French onion soup (I’m obsessed with French Onion soup, I order it everywhere), soup arrived like 3 minutes after I ordered it, so much cheese and bread and the actual soup was WAY too salty, I could not eat it. Burger arrived, didn’t have any mayo or ketchup or mustard, bun was just super dry with meat in it. There was a small ramekin half filled with ketchup for the fries which I used on the dry buns. The burger was disappointing, unseasoned meat patty and mushy tomato’s. Fries were crispy and hot. I drank my soda very slowly cause the server didn’t check back on how anything was. Loved the shrooms so much, might just come back for them.
This was my favorite meal of our trip! The salmon was cooked perfectly, the chips and salsa was simply delish! I had heard about this place-&so glad we finally tried it. Plus, our server was super nice!
Fabulous! 1st time eating here, recommended by a friend. Menu was varied, food was outstanding, staff was courteous and attentive. I had the KC burger and Korean chicken lettuce wraps. Kids went with Sedona shrimp pasta and fish and chips. Price was right where I would expect it to be for quality food. Definitely recommend Houlihan's if you're in Springfield.
Maddy was super nice. The French dip was awesome. My wife's well done steak... Barely medium well... Even after two attempts.
Came out to have a great birthday dinner and everything was messed up. The potatoes were cold not just me but also my sister boyfriends potatoes were cold and then I ate my salmon started eating my green beans to find a hair intertwined in it. We let them know about the hair and the Manger started questioning us like we did something. (None of us even have black hair) but she was acusing us being super rude. I didn't even get more green beans but i threw up my meal. This is the worst experience I have ever had. We got salmon removed but super annoying to have a Manger being super rude while trying to enjoy a birthday. Love your shrooms but Definitely not worth it the experience.
Very good food and service. Even though it was very busy and we were a party of 12, our server took excellent care of us.
I wish more Houlihans were still around....superb food and drink and service staff. The breaded mushrooms are the best in the restaurant industry!! The horseradish cream sauce should be on the menu as a soup!!
