The food was great and we really enjoyed the cobbler for dessert. More importantly when we left our kids decided to catch fireflies in the grassy area next door and inadvertently left my wallet in the grass. After driving over an hour away we reached Matthew who was willing to check the cameras to see what happened and even walked around outdoors to find our belongings. He found the wallet and allowed us to call and come back after closing to get it. He saved our vacation! Can't beat that top notch customer service!
If I could leave more stars, I would. This place is very very very good. The burnt ends where easily the best I've ever had. That's saying something seeing as I'm from Kansas City. My son ordered the wagyu brisket. It was everything you could hope it would be.The food was great, our server was friendly, and we had refills before the glass was even empty. I will definitely be back.
I’m generally not one to post about my food, but this is hands down the best burger / bbq I’ve ever had. 2 quarter pound Wagyu beef patty’s, grilled onions, cheese sauce and some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. On the menu, they simply call it “Moo”. If you are ever in Springfield, check out “Gettin’ Basted!”

Stuff friendly staff, our server Montana was super nice and was speedy, and GREAT FOOD. We had the Basted Nachos as the appetizer and we could’ve just ate them as our meal. I got the Ribs and my husband got the Melt burger. These ribs… let me tell you. They we sooooo freaking good, checked all the boxes. Fell off the bone, seasoned to perfection, and still warm when I got them. He loved his burger just as much as the nachos, we will definitely be returning.
Service was excellent! Fast and always handy! The burnt ends are delicious and plenty of them on the Burnt Ends Sandwich. Plenty of crispy fries, and the Cole slaw was yummy! Hubby had The Porker sandwich and it was huge! Can't wait to go back.

This was our first time trying out Gettin' Basted. It was really good! Generously sized portions and the meat is really good quality. You have to ask for extra BBQ sauce, which was different than most BBQ places I've been to, but they brought out as much as we wanted. Their sauce has a little zip to it. Overall, it was a great experience and really good food!
The boyfriend and I came here for the first time and it was delicious. The nachos are fantastic, and the pork tacos are also fantastic they have a different kick to them. Our main meal was very delicious as well. They have all around good food. Very pleased.
Wow I know why this place has won several awards for BBQ. Will, our waiter was fantastic. The burnt ends are so delicious and melt in your mouth. Coleslaw was fresh and crisp. Our client had the pork nachos and said they were fantastic. We will for sure be back.
