Had the Memphis Beale Street and it was really good! Have wanted to come in and try your BBQ for years and so glad we did! Definitely will be back to try some other tasty bbq. Oh yeah and the okra was sooooo delicious!!

Quaint spot. This may sound weird for a BBQ place but the okra was the best I have had. The beans also were very good. The ham, brisket, and pork were good but not outstanding. You can tell they care about their restaurant.

My friends and I stopped in while visiting from New York. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly! We loved the baby back ribs and the brisket but I’m sure anything is delicious. Would highly recommend!

Disappointed by my experience here. I ordered the $13.99 lunch plate, but what I received was not $13.99 of food. Included with the lunch special plate were: 2-3 thin slices each of brisket and deli sliced ham - tough, sinewy and just a little cold- 2 slices of Hostess white bread, served on styrofoam plates, and about a 1/3 cup each of what tasted like Walmart cole slaw and potato salad, which the server originally forgot. To be fair, the BBQ sauce itself was tasty, but there was very little of it. Very disappointing, cannot recommend.

I will never go to Crosstown Barbecue again. Sadly, I ordered based on the prices online. The online menu states, $9.99 for two sides and burnt ends. We pick up the meals (3 people ordered this particular meal) and the burnt ends are dry and hard (taste like they were leftovers from yesterday) and they charged us $15.99 per meal. I called and the manager/owner (lady) stated "I've told Steve to fix the prices online but he hasn't, so I don't know what to tell you. I saw the burnt ends and they looked okay when I saw them." She was not willing to fix their mistake and wasn't not kind on the phone. It frustrates me that she was comfortable stealing money by not using the prices that the menu shows and let alone give us leftovers from yesterday.

The food took so so long to have been cooked in the microwave and was served cold twice with the wrong sides the sauce tasted like can chili somehow. The burnt ends were tough an the char or burnt part was rubber The appetizers and 1 plate came an 30 mins later the other 3 plates came

Worst bbq I have ever had. All the meats were in tubs covered by foil and had to be warmed up. The burnt-ends were dry and all meats were flavorless.

I came through there last night. Ordered burnt ends. All I got was extremely dry chunks of brisket. No deckle...dry brisket. A person orders burnt ends for the flavor not dead dry meat.

Our party of three went to Crosstown Barbecue based on previous reviews. We wanted local flavor, not food from a chain restaurant. It was a huge mistake, The ribs had small grizzly bones in the meat and a lot of fat. My order of brisket and pork was very dry without a any flavor. The use of the barbecue sauce did not help this flavor. While this restaurant may have provided excellent quality in the past, our experience did not begin to match any of the positive reviews of previous years.

Great food, pleasant owner/host/waiter.Thank you and keep doing what you do.
