Another wonderful evening! Began in the lounge for Happy Hour before dinner reservations. Brought two friends from Chicago area who can't wait to return. Alligator Bites, Calamari, and Oysters with drinks in the Lounge. Bone in Strip, Porterhouse, Filet, and Chilean Sea Bass were all excellent entrees. Our waiter Justin even helped us with getting our smoked Fries fix.....really hope the authentic smoked fries can make a return at some time!

Wait staff and hostess were exemplary. We did not wait for anything and the waiter, Michael, did not hover about. Highly recommend for a casual or business dinner.

Great food. Great service.

We keep going back because the steaks are excellent! This includes the steak tartare, salads and other appetizers. If I had to nit pick, I'd say the escargot is not prepared in the traditional manner; too much breading for my taste, which overwhelms the snails. Just serve them alone in garlic butter. Strawberry shortcake is also a bit over the top. The cake itself should be light, and the strawberry's should not be syrupy. The service is always top notch. Wait staff know the menu and are very accommodating. The ambience is comfortably elegant; white tablecloths, glass, etc. Might want to put some type of highlights on the steps going to the second floor for us older folks who can't see as well in the dark. The piped-in music is as it should be - low and in the background!!! The space is also acoustically quite. Well thought out!

Excellent as always

I wanted a nice relaxing meal. The decor was nice, yet relaxing…perfect! I ordered the Petit filet. I like my steak well done. (I heard many of you gasp! What can I say, I don’t want to see blood in my food! It was honestly the most tender filet I’ve ever had, and it was cooked PERFECTLY! It was week done, but not dry at all!! The service was great. The wedge salad was also very good. The twice baked potato was dry, and had no flavor. Seriously, order another side. I’ll definitely come here again . I’m going to order the Brussel Sprout leaves as my side next time.

When we arrived we were seating quickly and the staff was amazing! Ambiance was perfect as my husband and I are veterans and prefer a quieter atmosphere so the quiet and darker atmosphere was perfect. Food was very good, we ordered an appetizer and I ordered the T-Bone while my husband ordered the Tomahawk. My steak was absolutely delicious as was the tomahawk, however, our only negative to say of it was the amount of fat that came with it provided only a certain amount of meat that we could enjoy and, considering the price which was fair in our opinion, we would have liked to have seen more meat there. Dessert was divine, that we were celebrating my husbands birthday it was a nice closing to our night there! Definitely a place that would be great for social gatherings or for an intimate dining experience.

Having worked a 12 hour day it was a wonderful place to relax, have a cocktail and enjoy a great meal.

Loved our food, ambiance, and service. Our waiter, Hayden, was great and perfectly attentive.

We came here for a joint birthday dinner (my wife and I celebrate most of our milestones at Char) expecting an amazing meal as usual. Kevin, our server, was great. They us in a private room, that was special. The food… I was so disappointed in my entree and 2 of our guests from out of town and myself had to send our food back because it was cold. I would have given a better review on food but my salmon was so sad, even with sending it back, I feel they just threw it in the microwave. The “Oscar” was a lukewarm and bland concoction of sauce with a very small portion of lobster and crab, barely a bite. I love char and want to come back for all our other special occasions but something is up with the kitchen.
