I just had the Mongolian beef, it tasted like air and this persisted even after I put FIVE soy sauces in it to give it some semblance of flavor. The booths are also insanely uncomfortable and the cashier working there didn't even say hello when I got there. The sad music in dining room fit the SAD and SORRY food, I'm going to Wendy's...

The food is fresh, delicious and prepared with care. Large portions for a great price. The restaurant is very clean. It appears to be family owned and family run. We had a really lovely lunch with our family of 4. We ordered beef and onions, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Crab wontons, and Egg rolls. Yum!The people here are super nice and hospitable!

Grabbed some takeout while traveling through Springfield. Its nice to see Canton Inn is still making great food at a great price. I'm not a big fan of ordering at the pick-up window but everyone seems to have a staff shortage anymore. They still have the best eggrolls anywhere.

I grew up in Springfield and we used to eat here all the time. My wife and I drove through town and stopped by here for some takeout. Great cashew chicken, great sweet and sour chicken and still the best eggrolls I have ever had. Canton Inn has been serving up great food to Springfield for decades and they are just as good as they have ever been.

Not for this family.Cashew Chicken- bland and sauce almost had a burnt taste.General Chicken- I have NEVER had GC with Garlic- I truly thought they had messed up my order as I could see loads of minced garlic from a jar. There was no “heat” or “spice” to it.. Just Garlic.Egg Roll was chunky and lacking flavor.Portions were of a nice balance meat vs rice.Just a $40 lesson that we will not try again.

Purely okay. Cashew chicken was good, crab Rangoon was okay. The egg roll was the best part. I got noodles instead of rice and it was literally just spaghetti noodles without any sauce or anything haha I have a place in town I love, but this was close so I tried it out. Probably won’t go back.

It's clear they put a lot of thought into things - from the food to the carry out window they built due to the pandemic. General Chicken was great, rice was fresh and perfect.

Gave us the wrong order. They put the heavy chicken fried rice on top of the styrofoam cashew chicken container so that it smashed the top in. The chicken fried rice container was dripping with so much grease that there was a pool of it in the big dent in the container. There was grease all over the inside of the bag and all over the sauce packets. They used to serve egg rolls that were hot and greasy, now they serve ones that are ice cold. Another time when we came my wife waited at the outside pick-up window for our order for an eternity because they forgot our order. They didn't remember the order so she had to tell them again and then wait again and they had the nerve to ask her if she had paid! This place has really went downhill from what it used to be.

Despite making a fool of myself cause my boyfriend put it under my name instead of his, it was a lovely experience. The food was priced well, but the quality was even better. Pot stickers were by far my favorite and I'm excited to come back
